Tthe principal of the thing is really something I can almost say I would stay and fight for, in a similar circustance. I mean it's not like they are reclaiming the land for a wildlife preserve, building a park for the community to enjoy, or even a fucking road that might make getting around a bit easier. It's a couple of fucking asshole developers with the city in their pocket essentially forcing you out so that they can make money.
That said, I would have to take that amount of money, no question. I wouldn't be happy about it, though. And even though SCOTUS backed them on this, I still think it makes a mockery of what emminent domain is all about.
