Oh FUCK the latest post by Shroom almost made me laugh out loud in the office. That "dockyard worker" was just freakin' priceless :D

As for the drydock, I think 12 months will be a good estimate - it's a heavy piece of technology, after all.

And...goddammit. Somebody's gonna have to tow it all the way to my country :D

The caption is an integral part of joke, though.

It reminds me of those WWII propaganda posters.

"Build the ships!"

"For outrageous fees!"

It's amazing what you can google with "gay + construction + worker" :P

To whoever actually cared, I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull out on this. In the two days I've been out things would have spun far beyond my comprehension, and I'm really not in the mood to wrap my head around official sounding stuff.

It's challenging, yeah.

So.... can your nation still be a FUNGAL AXIS member? I'll control it for ya :)

For sure man. It could also lead up to an exciting plot point; Zablania: The Return of the Republic!

Shroooooooom, that picture.

If you're quiting, can i invade your country and claim it as a part of my empire?

He's part of the FUNGAL AXIS, so he's already with us :P

Shroomania is willing to export arms as well! Since both Shroomania and the Technocracy are developed nations, if you deal with both of us, we can give your military a unique combination of stuff.

Want some Shroomanian F-18s?

Too bad, Zablorg... although you realize this isn't so tightly-wound that you really need to keep hip-deep involvement? You can easily pop in every so often for a spare moments' fun, too.

Yeah, it's not like Zablorgia is bombing the shit out of rogue assholes almost every real day like me and Shroom did for the last half a year.

You could come around once a year or two [a real month] for the big news in your country (actually some smaller nations only get so much coverage on the news, like a few news a year]

RT is slowing down too; lots of stuff to work on :)

The key good thing about this game that it can be resumed at any moment - well, requires some reading to get up-to-date, but no more than 2-3 pages back usually to get all the recent stuff...

Even King Tithonus can come back into play ;) remember, I still house him ;)

Yeah, like those who aren't "addicts" to SDN World can still act like the occasional noisy world figure or celebrity. We need our Lil' Kims and Princess Ds and Pope Benny 0-1-6s.

Or, better yet, Robert Mugabe.

Yeah. Well Gottland's leader has been doing pretty well for a very small and unstable state, he made a major plotline ;)

And Shep has put me in a dilemma. If I accept his offer, I am given the means to shoot down satellites, but I risk pissing off the MESS. If I don't... well. Hrm.

There's a world of difference between having a weapon and actually using it.

For all I care, you can use the launcher complex to intercept IRBMs over your capitol city each independence day for the ultimate fireworks show for the proletarian masses

There's a solution which will offer good protection and make your weapons pretty fine by us really ;) just watch and in a few minutes you'll see the Next Big Thing of SDN World ;)

But I don't want to make the world of SDN a giant No-Fly Zone. I mean, can we at least regulate and allow civilian air traffic? I am sure none of us would go 9/11 on anyone else.

I believe it only relates to space launchers.

Civilian jets have flown over airspace since the inception of SDN World and no one shot them down, no one even tried.

Well, I'm not sure about the MESS nations as their delegates never arrived, but other nations have travelled by air, passing through sovereign airspace, and it was fine.

I believe identification system for civilian airfleets already exist in SDN World (at least XX century tech offhand means it), so no need to worry.

[Of course if some asshole right now thinks that "civil airlines pass freely" is an invitation to run a 9/11 on the JESZ nations... that would be the last thing he does in SDN World]

Well, here's to Arik and his goodwill on international cooperation! ;)

We decided upon this and now a lot of good stuff is moving in the international space!!

I'll propose that bridge-dam-tidal HEPS project be called Future Bridge

Jesus, if Shroom and I both get a piece of that 10 000 missile pie (say we get 30% of the production run split between us, with the remaining 60% being done in Zoria and Nukistan), then at 750 000 USD apiece, that gives us annual revenue of 1,125 billion if my math is right. Assuming 10% of that is actual income, with the rest covering the costs, that works out to 112,5 million moolah to spend freely.

I think some Nukistani congressmen need to be sent some beer & hookers on the government's expense :D

The little money comin` worked out well
"c `est la vie", say the old folks
It goes to show you never can tell

Oh and look how kickass the JSEZ worked out :) GOGO!!

Bean could be something like France is for the ESA: launchers and launches, while other nation's space agencies make sats and other stuff which htey need, and get around $200 million annual space programs, like Great Britain does! :)

Very cool indeed, and horay to all OMSK members acting in such a coherent COOL manner that we even anticipate each other's actions without phone calling ;)

I did not set out to corner the world's market on launching satellites into space, but by Xenu I've managed it.

Come one come all to Outer Heaven Gateway... to the Stars!

It's okay, Shroom. You made the most important deal. :D
