I mean, according to Lord of War there were hundreds of millions of droids at the battle of Coruscant alone.
And I just now realized "Lord of War" you're talking about is different from the movie.

Well, I hope Traviss and the thousands of posters of sw.com continues to view that page, because it will be the subject of countless updates!

Thank you, Karen! Also, thank you, Darkstar! (Read his latest blogs to see what I mean, and how Traviss may have found out about the page early.)

The page will officially go live when I get home. Then, the "3 Million Clone War Fallacy" will bwe worked on this week, starting with Ender's excellent breakdown he sent me.

Oh, and Traviss seems to threaten that I'll be added to her Klingon language in a disparaging way over this. Cool! I'll now be referenced twice in canon and EU literature!

Wait, what? You made it into the canon and EU?

Yeah, there's a Wapoe statue in ITW:OT. Of the "Atrisian demigod of disguise, Wapoe was often represented as a stout, short-bodied humanoid".

I do believe you're alleging that I'm doing this for monetary advantage. I think TOS has a view on that. But you might as well keep going...
I'm sorry. I love this quote so much I have to cite it, again. Remember all of those times her defenders have written off her death threats as being jokes? Well, here's one of her supporters making a joke about hazard pay, and look how she jumps down his throat. I guess that vaguely implying that someone could apply for financial gain is worse than talking about your desire to kill people.

Wow, so one of her Suporters made a joke that she could apply for Hazzard pay, and she jumped down his throat for insuating shes in it for the money? Crap on a Crap what a loon

Doesn't this mean that she should return her paychecks and royalties, since she's above such petty concerns?

Poe was also credited in the endnotes of the AotC and RotS ICS books, IIRC.

I can't be bothered reading Darkstar's blogs, though I had no doubt he'd try to insinuate himself into this like the moron he is, as if he has something to say on the matter. Not to mention the burning irony of him (presumably) getting off on Karen Traviss' talifan rants when he was thoroughly denounced as one by KevinK on Ms Traviss' LJ :)

Of course, the difference that is lost on him is that this is fans telling an author that her plot is stupid and makes no sense. In the case of Darkstar, it's him telling the entire gaggle that none of them know how canon works but him. Small difference. There's a difference between policy and critical analysis of a story. You might as well call a Trekkie a Talifan for calling Threshold the dumbest fucking episode ever.

I just sludged my way through it. Darkstar is feeling lonely I think. All the attension on KT and none on him lately. He tried his hardest to draw a comparison between what is happening with KT and what happened to him on what ever board it was that ST EU writters smacked him around.

He apperently also found a new swear word, since he utters 'talifan' with the frequency that most sailors say 'fuck'. Ah, he so cuuute.

The statue of Wapoe is also mentioned in one of the prequel novels. Windu is looking at it while in Palpatine's office.

Now here is an interesting turn on the TF.N front...according to dp4m I cannot have any reference to Karen Travis, whatsoever, in my signature.

Interesting, apparently we can't actually use people's names simply because they have become Star Wars authors...

I wonder if this applies to all authors or just Traviss?
dp4m has been on total Karen-supression mode of late.

Oh, to have the powers of a moderator...wait (checks) isn't TMcE a mod now??!?!?

McDumbshit is part of the "EU staff," which officially only means that he writes reviews for new books on the main website. However, this shows that he is a respected member of the forum. He can get away with any amount of bullshit, and using such harsh insults on him as "liar" will result in you getting swamped by geeky civility whores expressing their anger and outrage in that retarded Mando'a language of theirs. That happened to me, a couple months ago.

This is why I can't believe people who try to tell me that he's laughed at be most others on the lit boards. There might be something, but him even getting a title, just goes to show how delusional the people responsible for that place really are.

I guess when you piss off the professionals and the people in charge of the official site, the next best thing is to criticize their books in public. Lol.

That's too funny. It's like the Penguin seizing the moment to try and form a partnership with Darkseid, you know this is doomed to pathetic failure. "Together we will stop the talifans! Rrah-rrarrarrararrarrah!"

Darkies blod is worse than just attaching himself to the current controversy. I couldn't get through all of it - the Traviss entry is literally a dozen screens long - but he seemed to be using this as a tool to draw attention to his bizarre canon ideas, and 'prove' that they're 'better'.

That would actually be rather cool.

I wonder why they never did that on the old Adam West Batman, they could have gone all out and had William Shatner play Darkseid.

You have no right to complain about that comment being taken seriously, given your track record of what what you think "would be cool".

I'm back from vacation, and will resume tuning up the database as time permits. Anyone notice it seems that Traviss has been muffled? No more snipes in her blogs or on sw.com message boards.
