The really bad thing? You can't even fool him by giving him 1970s GRAPHS.

where does one find the Mosin Nagant, and is it really as good as they say (best weapon for Stas and others)

I have
recently learned that Final Thanas has extensive bonuses against the Polish raceclass, which I picked at the start because of my hopeless
national pride jingoism.
Is this why everyone disocurages chosing Polish as your PC raceclass? Can I expect the Final Thanas fight to be significantly more difficult for my current PC? Some people on other forums are advising I restart the game, but I'd rather avoid that.

A good way to delevel the final Thanas is to bring his girlfriend NPC along, for she counts as half Polish raceclass, thus forcing him to stay his anti-polish combos against your party.
However, due to the the coders forgotting to script her in, you will have to resort to fan mods as no official release has ever featured her.

The other alternative is to stack your party with character that have the Hard Drinking skill and challenge Thanas to a drinking contest. After the 10th round switch to asking him about Rome and when he's distracted you can gain access to his Big Book Of History Facts and hit him over the head with it (-3 to hit and +50 damage due to the books weight).

Or recruit aerius and use his 'Customs Goon' ability to destroy Thanas' latin texts, which will help you triumph over the Final Thanas!

Wait, what? Won't that give him the Enraged buff? All the other NPCs behave that way.

It's really that easy? Then why are so many people concerned about fighting the Final Thanas?

I think the Mosin is a myth: I've never ran into it, and the things people say about it have the tell-tale signs of urban legends.

Not so difficult if, during the Valdemar and Jaeriusmuse Doompocalypse sidequests, you simply follow Jaeriusmuse back to its/their lair, beat it/them up, and take its/their oil and gold stockpile (or capture one part and ransom it, or just sneak in and sneak out with it, or tell an angry mob that it/they are bankers who have bread and wait until it/they are hauled away to go in and yoink the goodies, or whatever. There are at least fifteen ways to do it). For maximum profits, you have to sell the oil immediately, though, before the speculation bubble pops.

This is partially true.
The first remark will get Tevar angry, and she'll get a bonus on melee attacks and damage for a few minutes (real time)
The second remark will cause Tevar to pull out her hammer and nail him, as rumored.
Third remark (which must be right after Nitram revives) will cause Tevar to hammer him into the ground. At which point, Nitram will pull himself out the ground, dust himself off, and make what sounds like apologetic sounds. Nitram and Tevar get a bonus on armor and attacks until you next save, of for 20 real time minutes, which ever comes first.

Hint for newer players: Some of the typos in the game are actually Easter eggs. Specifically, any equipable or invocation-capable items.
Just don't use them in the Fanfic quests, or the in the Hall of Shame areas. You could call the results 'easter eggs within the eggs'.

For one, the game actually received a Mature ESRB classification. As for the buggy nature of Trinity vs. Mary Poppins, as with Impassable Tourist Bus of Doom, Atlus was in the middle of debugging that quest chain when Square took back control; unlike Impassable Tourist Bus of Doom, Square's programmers did manage to kludge together a passable fix for Trinity vs. Mary Poppins in time for the ship date, though its haphazard nature clearly shows. Atlus plans to have it fixed properly with the next patch.

The basic Mosin-Nagant is most certainly not a myth. The PU Scope required to turn it into a true Nazi-killer can be a bit hard to find, though; without the PU Scope, it's not much different from any of the other bolt-action rifles in the game.
I think you have the basic Mosin confused with its two unique versions, Zaitsev's Pride and Rifle of the White Death. While they do exist, they are among the hardest weapons to obtain in the entire game, and the quests required to get them can be VERY easy to miss.

Huh...I just assumed that since my box has 16+ on it, then in America it has the same classification.
I wonder where the difference came from.

Really? Lots of characters allude to things which would require entirely new art. Or is it somewhere within the game files, just locked?

I'm wondering about that too. There are practically no differences between the American and European versions, as far as I know.
In any case, what Faqa said a while back about the differences between the American and European versions is clearly bunk, especially given that the RayCav storyline he was talking about was kept in the American version.

Regarding Trinity vs. Mary Poppins, there are a whole bunch of dummied-out entries in the game files, as well as some...interesting unused art. The overhaul won't be anywhere near as drastic as the one for Impassable Tourist Bus of Doom, but it'll still be quite substantial.

It's kinda similar to how you get the PzH 2000, actually. If you have Stas or another party member with the Russian raceclass and a good reputation, you can go ask the Red Army quartermaster for a Mosin-Nagant. The kicker, though, is that whether he actually has Mosin-Nagants or not in his inventory is randomized in every new game; on one playthrough, he'll practically be giving them away for free, while on another playthrough, he'll just tell you that he hocked them to some mafia goons in exchange for booze money. If the quartermaster doesn't have them, then you'll just have to resort to...other methods. It doesn't help that the drop rate for the Mosin-Nagant is ridiculously low for Russian and Finnish enemies; at least you can make a small fortune selling off surplus PPSh-41s, Suomi KPs, AKMs, and Rk 62s, though.

Only if the Animu Demon is female. Equipping a male Animu Demon with the Rifle of the White Death or another weapon imbued with Simo Hayha's powers yields Golgo 13 instead.
Funny things tend to happen if your Animu Demons also have raceclasses attached to them. Giving the Rifle of the White Death to a female Finnish Animu Demon is one way of getting
Eila Ilmatar Juutilainen in your party, for instance; likewise, giving Zaitsev's Pride to a female Russian Animu Demon yields
Sanya V. Litvyak. However, given the difficulty of obtaining Zaitsev's Pride and Rifle of the White Death and the fact that there are easier and more straightforward ways to obtain Eila and Sanya as party members, these could be considered Easter eggs of sorts.
In any case, the reaction from Zombie Eino Ilmari Juutilainen when you introduce him to his female counterpart is PRICELESS.

Of course it will, but he will target all his ire at aerius, and only attack him during the fight. This means you can get a good number of attacks in while he keeps beating up aerius' corpse until it is ground to dust.

Exactly! By destroying his precious latin texts, aerius will earn the ire of Thanas and will be subject to his attacks. But since Thanas doesn't have the Dildo Bludgeon attack, aerius will take some time to die and Thanas will be distracted enough for you to strike your finishing blow!

The quest to find the Rifle of the White Death and his spirit have a highly elevated chance of running into the Dragonlord as a random encounter, since it does take place in his home region. If that happens, there are ways to increase your chances of success and/or escape unscathed, but they require the completion of several side quests.
Tips:
- Look for information on mushrooms and tea.
- Good quality rum may also be useful
- Having certain NPCs in your party is invaluable. If you have Zaia in your party, she will automatically cause the Dragonlord to be more favorably disposed toward you in a non-combat encounter. Just be careful, because if you take the really, really wrong dialogue choices, in addition to turning into a combat encounter, Zaia will leave your party.
- If you are Zaia, the Dragonlord will automatically be friendly to you.
- If you're not the real Zaia but try to masquerade as her, the Dragonlord will automatically attack and will remain hostile for the rest of the game. In this case the effects of any completed side quests that would gain his favor are nullified.
- Certain other NPCs will also help with gaining the Dragonlord's favor. Good luck finding out who they are. As for getting them to join you, well, you'll need to find that out on your own too.

not really you just have to use the time travel missions to go back to the beginning of the board, or actually be Ando, or Woodlouse.
now finding Ver/Haas is difficult even with the time travel ability.oh and if you want to really mess with people. Try the ASVS vs SDN portion of the time travel missions.

This is what I've noticed-- just started playing:
1- One of the first buildings you get is the MESS Infantry Barracks. You get a lot of infantry and bunkers, but that's it.
2- It seems to me that you can defend SDN World with that for awhile, and it is worth it to save your gold until you can get Monkey Labs.
3- Monkey Labs allows you access to the HAB Underground Facility where you can get the baseline model Land Battleship.
Once you have the Land Battleship, the Black Egyptian mission is much easier. Once you get the treasure from the Black Egyptians (hopefully by getting them to fight the Nazis for you, as pointed out earlier), then you go back and do all those upgrades at your base like get the Bundeswehr Surplus facility. Upgrade your Land Battleship with the Pz-2000 coilgun turrets, and put a Shep/Elf reactor in the Land Battleship.
From there, your party has an easier time getting around-- the Land Battleship has unlimited travel range, but until you get the Ammo upgrades and Energy Weapons buffs (after the Darkstar mission, which I haven't done yet) the ammunition is a pain due to limited onboard supply.
Hint-- I also found that with Monkey Labs and the MESS Barracks, you can unlock the Ninja Daughter special character and she can put at least four random attackers in the hospital before breaking contact. Very handy if your Land Battleship runs out of ammo in the early parts of the game.
