Also, I was a bit dissapointed that the "Becoming a Big Daddy ain't a two-way street, kid!" thing wasn't mentioned in the ending. (At least, not in the ending you get for harvesting the Sisters.)
It's also not mentioned in the Good ending ether. But then I just assumed
that Fontaine was talking out of his ass and trying to mess with your head.

Well in the good ending the Little sisters are around Jack on his deathbed, while the Doctor lady gives her speech about how he got a family out of it. So obviously he became the "Big Daddy" of all the Little Sisters.

There are audio diaries from Dr Suchong saying that Ryan wanted the Big Daddies making on the cheap, as guys in suits, rather than surgically implanted into the armour as Suchong wanted to do. The armour may indeed have been removable, the pheromones probably were not, so the PC would have been unpleasant to be around for anyone but the little sisters for the rest of his life.

I think I might have missed that one.

I'm sure the Pheromones would've worn off eventually.
I checked the lists of audio diaries floating around the net, I don't think I missed any. I didn't bother going back to the Farmer's Market when I got that keycode in Hephaestus(?) though- I was never really short of anything.
Anyway, I just finished the game with the good ending. I'm reluctant to play it evil, since it's just so mean, but what happens in the evil ending?

You lead an army of splicers topside and hijack a nuclear-armed submarine.

Now this I have to see.

LOL! Me too. I took the route of the little sister savior the first time, and started going back again (I've harvested all six I've encountered so far), but I definately need to finish on the bad ending!

Indeed you're not really a big Daddy.. at least not from the point of view of anyone but a Little Sister. To them though well you've got the suit and look like one, you sound like one, and you smell like one but none of the surgical grafting or gene mods took place, though I'll grant Jack probably couldn't talk normal for a good while if ever.

I find it disturbing that you would play through a game you've already beat once, intentionally slaughtering little girls, just for the sake of a game ending you could probably find, at this point, on Youtube.

Indeed. Wasting another dozen hours on an already boring game to watch a short clip of some splicers effortlessly hijacking a nuclear submarine is simply unjustified. We're supposed to believe that the same cannon fodder that was mowed down by the hundreds by the main character was able to take control of a heavily guarded nuclear submarine (during the Cold War, no less). I hope that depiction of 'zomg nukes' at the end is not an indication of a sequel.
That said, I regret having bought into the hype and purchasing this game.
Uninspired, totally predictable steaming pile of shit.

Is it just me or is the game really, really easy? I mean, aside from the big daddies (who really aren't that difficult, unless you get cornered by a bouncer) I kill everything with an electro-bolt and a wrench. Maybe it's just because I got the wrench monkey tonic and researched things, but I'm breezing through this.
I've got full ammo (including all the specialties) for every weapon I've had for more than 20 minutes. I don't even need anything other than the shotgun, since that's what I use for the daddies. Hell, I don't even need any of the other plasmids (well, except for telekenesis for those hard-to-reach items) besdies the aforementioned electro-bolt.
