Readying is a standard action. You can't cast a spell and ready to cast another in the same round.

You guys did 70 damage in that round, even with the thing making every save required. Toss in the grenade prior to the initiative count, and it took 82 damage in a very short space of time.

Not if you're in them. Smoke inhalation, heat... it's a Bad Thing. Many animals will get confused in the smoke and run back into the flames. ((thus speaks the FireRanger's Daughter))

I know, they are bad for whatever is in them... heheheh and in game terms, that is 1d6 per round from the flames, and if you walk rather than crawl.. well.. smoke inhalation.. dont know how to handle that in damage terms... maybe same rules as drowning
