He plays well, knows there are as many people supporting him as there are people hating him (I support him for one, due to completely irrational reasons of liking the guy for no good reason) and thinks he can get away with it. What's there to understand?

But he knows that he doesn´t get away with it. He was banned for 10 games for his last bite and will now be banned from the world cup. It looks more like he simply can not controll himself even though he knows that he´ll face repercussions.

Honestly all I can say to that is the following. If they ban him from the world cup, than fuck them and their families for 24 generations with a rusty iron pole. Is it a rational thing to say? Hell no! But I will say it anyway. Because the quality of play in such an important competition should not be compromised. They should just fine him heavily.

Is there ever going to be a thread on any subject where you don't give us a new and thrilling example of how much of a shitwit you are?
Biting other players is not an example of a high "quality of play", and Suarez should be out of international football for a significant length of time. By rights, given that this is the third time he has done this now he should be banned for the maximum length of time possible. This should be a career ender, he has demonstrated time and again that he doesn't have the capability to act like an adult in stressful play situations, and that he doesn't have the capability to learn and correct his behaviour.

And the punishment has been announced: a total ban on playing at any level until the end of October, and a 9-game ban at international level, which takes him out of the rest of the World Cup, and depending on how farther Uruguay get, probably a good chunk of the 2018 qualifiers and next year's Copa America.

Whilst I admit that I am in the wrong morally in this case. I stand by what I said. Fuck them and their families for all eternity.
I like watching the guy play. And they took that away. So I hate them.
Am I right? Hell no. Do I care? Hell no again.
This post is a way of expressing my emotional rage at the whole situation. Both the bloody idiot for getting him self kicked out and the bloody idiots who did it to him.

Okay, okay, we get it. You're a bad person because sports. Let's get back to the real problem of the day: That I'm on goddamn tiptoes worried that Germany will come down with a collective case of severe metatarsal paronychia, followed by Portugal managing a 4-0 against Ghana because magic.

That is scary. Thank you for infecting me with that though. Now I am worried.
This said, it cured my anger about the Suarez issue so there is that.

Flooding in Recife. Two Ghana players kicked out for being dicks. Ronaldo hurt. God himself is getting involved in today's matches.
Still, fuck it, I'm excited for Germany vs USA. It's the battle of the Germans versus kind of a few less Germans!

Not a fan of the game. I could care less from a sports point of view who wins.
That being said Germany is the better team. My only real hope is that the barely win or tie just so that the Germans get humiliated. It is quite deserving after the lowbrow manner their media has acted leading up to the game.

This POS should be banned for life. Teams that he is contracted with should sue him for breach of contract and players he has bitten should sue him.

Fucking ridiculous. The hysteria over this is just baffling, Pepe gets a 10 match ban for grievous bodily assault on the Getafe captain and no 4month ban from football;
HOW? And don't give me that 'but Suarez has got previous' bullshit, so does Pepe.

He bit someone, and this is the third time. If your name is not Mike Tyson or Hannibal Lector you learned not to bite at the ripe old age of FOUR.
$100 says this POS does it again and when he does he should be given the lifetime ban he should have gotten this time.

He bit three someones, none of which had to be stretchered off and sent to hospital. You're telling me what you've seen Suarez do in this World Cup equates to what i just posted above?

Both are pathetic. The only real difference between them is the Pepe incident was during a play where he lashed out in idiotic frustration at a guy, not a defense just an assessment of his actions, while Chomper seems to go after someone a bit more after the fact. I can see a soccer player kicking out of frustration while not thinking about the consequences. One cannot say the same thing about someone that intentionally BITES another player.
I stand by what I said about Chomper. He should be banned for life. One can argue that Pepe should also be banned, but that is a different argument. I am saying ban for life based on his actions not on the weak penalties given to other players in different situations.

What a fucking load of bullshit, the whistle had blown when Pepe did what he did. They're both examples of people just losing their fucking minds.

Fair enough. I'm saying that the hysteria surrounding this incident far outweighs the harm caused, and to give you an analogy it's like the argument to keep marijuana criminalised while allowing the selling of alcohol; completely hypocritical irrational histrionics without merit.

America, you need to send Ronaldo a nice present. Some flowers, maybe, and some hair gel should do it.

Portugal out as well now. Looks like this is just turning out to be an all-around terrible World Cup for the European teams. Except the ones that speak French, oddly enough.

South American World Cups is where European teams go to die historically.

Pepe is a LOT worse. He does stuff that could end careers almost every other game. Biting is disgusting, but no real threat unless he's going for the throat. He should be punished, but players like Pepe are the real menace.

Meh, if we'd covered him properly in the last minute the Portugal Ghana game would've been irrelevant.

Polish commentator: "Why Germans would tire themselves for Portugal seeing USA is led by their coach's best buddy"?
Though, the speculation before game they will "agree" to 1-1 draw suiting them both seems to have been unfounded
