Shep, did you get permission from loomer and Stas for that "Second Russo-Shepistani War" thing?

Didn't check with me, but it's good by me. Lets me work in a history of Afghanistan as a warzone between them, maybe even some elements of 'this battleground here? We make it a nation, a buffer state'.

There was no war with Shep.

Ryan, calm down and think. How high do you think the chances are that Germany, a partner of yours in the Panama canal and dependent on it for a lot, if not the majority of its merchant shipping, is going to attack you? It would be economic suicide, especially as I would have no way of trying to hold on to your forces.

Who knows what capitalist countries are liable to do? :-P

I mean seriously we just had a huge conference where people went "SOCIALISM IS EVIL! KILL IT WITH FIRE! SO SAYETH WE ALL!" and you're surprised that it makes us a little antsy? Then to top it off multiple fleets go off to sea and there's military movement along our borders?

Aaaaah so you're coming for Brazil then? :-P Meh, that'd explain why Steve insists that I put up my coastal and interior fortifications...

You'll see who I am coming after in half an hour, though from my troop movements which started over four gamemonths ago it should be no surprise.

I'm not concerned about Germans, but then again they're acting alongside Chiletinean forces and those guys are a fucking epic wildcard down here with all the shit they've been spewing.

We'll be on alert until either one of you good fellows tells us what the fuck you're doing in the Carribean or we observe it ourselves. ;)

A few of our boats will be attempting to approach and hail to do just that. We won't be shooting, of course, unless you shoot at us first, which I don't expect to happen.

Actually, pure desperation. I need to have a safe western frontier to keep Germany safe and france will do so for a price. Both France and Germany need a victory to convince its populace of the worth of the alliance.

I need a guarantee that I can not be attacked from the west and any attack mounted from France will fail, France needs the same from me. The provisions we have agreed on will guarantee that an attack by me on France and an attack by him on me will be impossible.

It'll be good to get access to my google earth overlays when the computer arrives back - then I can do the war properly, with knowledge of my railroads and fortifications (two of the 'good' passes are going to be pretty well defended, Shep, so it might well be a mountain war.)

Curacao and Surimane, where quite a potent fleet is stationed.

Ah. Very well. Colombia won't interfere, but do yourselves a favour and stay at least 100 km away from my coastline unless you feel like answering some questions, because there's no way for them to know that you're issuing ultimatums to the ULC yet.

Or we could say you informed us via your embassy. That'd clear things up nicely.

*Monocle* Obviously, we would not be seizing all of the Dutch Low colonies, after all Bali would just add more Hindoos to the Grand Dominion. But if the Dutch communist governemnt falls, the GDN may arrive off the coast, drop anchor, point guns inland, and invite the local government to join the Grand Dominion as there is no government in the Hague anymore.

(I have a vague recollection that there are some HOA holdings, alas work is blocking the map. So I cannot initiate horsetrading that the moment.)

Haha, holy shit, this is going to be interesting. I wonder how the USSR is going to react to that.

Mongolia, definitely, is going to have some inner turmoil after hearing of this AND a coup attempt in Germany AND a war on our borders. The German expats, German-Mongolians, the fascists/nationalists, and the Marxists are all going to be in a tizzy, so to speak.

Yeah....before any of you get their hopes up for a strong German anti-communist crusade, not going to happen. The war against the dutch is the result of internal French and German politics and if the Dutch were a capitalist nation, the same would happen to them.

Germany is quite willing to work with all communist nations. Well, those who still trust us after this. I do know that I did inform at least one major communist nation long before about this and one major nation today before I posted iirc.

Germany is interested only in one thing - the safety of her borders.
