Not in my browser. Could be that your browser goes "hey, he clicked yes for this session, lets go with the flow".

And it's getting worse, now the only way I can see any SDN page is to remove the "s" from the "https" in the browser URL bar. Hopefully this can be fixed on Monday? It's getting to be a bit of a pain in the anatomy.

Great, thanks. Once it's fixed, does it have to propagate back to us, like a fix to a DNS glitch does, or is it fixed once at the source and immediately works again for everyone?

Certificates are resources that are kept on the server. It will happen immediately.

Certificate has been installed. No ETA on spoiler tag. I think that was a third-party mod.

And that's it fixed — I used the normal bookmark just now, the front page came up as normal and the login autocomplete worked.

Can anyone describe the process for joining the SCA ? I am in Buffalo, New York.

Wanted to enquire about something that came up in the STGOD subforum. Namely that it is no longer possible to edit old posts, as used to be the case in that forum.

Is this a deliberate change in board policy, or a software issue?

I'm not sure how much this is PHP or up to you, but I'm incredibly happy that SDN has little to no JS. I know there are enough BB plugins include enough JS to make my workstation crawl and I'm all for keeping them far away from me.

This is probably a software issue. Now that I think about it, I have a feeling that the old software had some custom code in it to make certain forums exempt from the edit-time restriction.

Yep, t'was down for me as well. What a horrid time to be alive...

3pm CDT til I don't know when yesterday. Caught me in the middle of posting a reply to Broomstick in the venting thread. Saved it to an offline document, ate supper, and took a nap. Was working fine when I woke up.

Figured either Mike's servers or his power were out.

You lot need to watch Facebook. I posted an enquiry there, he responded. Power outage in his area and the server's battery backup ran out.

I don't even know the SDN/Mike's Facebook page address, since I don't use it and so far I've not seen any good reason to change that policy either.

Granted, it's not a very active page, but it's useful for checking if the board is down since Facebook will hardly ever go down. So if the board doesn't come up for you on multiple browsers or your phone, just ask. That's what I did. There's also the very occasional discussion there as well.
