Cascadia would strongly protest an outside power gaining a permanent foothold in the region. Especially if its Orion. Our view is that Umeria and San Dorado can handle it; if they want our help for anything they can ask, but we would rather Ausfricans handle Ausfrican affairs.

The Cascadian delegation to E_F's summit arrives.
Ain't I a stinker?

You should have Hawai'i's counter-terrorism expert be a certain Ms. Waller....

She's the Director of the RIS. Totally-not-Coulson is one of her Deputy Directors.

Thought I'd get in on stealing Marvel characters, since everyone else is.
And a couple vets of our raid against AVALANCHE, which should be appreciated by Orion.

Granadia says "hola" to Orion.

Sweet, I'll post a reception-event-thing soon.
Also, RogueIce, Captain Steve Rogers?
Really?

The UOCSR will send a delegation. I'll write up something later.

I also wouldn't call the representative of the second largest mercenary corporation in San Dorado a "steroid chewing thrill seeker". I especially wouldn't use that term anywhere Major Teague can hear it. I hear he's brought down governments for less.
Also, did you want those electronic warfare mercs or not?
yes to the mercs
Also, from Champa's point of view, 'leaving when the problem is solved' is like live release of rats into your back garden. It's only solved until they come back next week. On the other hand, if the threat of it prods San Dorado /Omnia/Umeria into acting we benefit

Am I the only nation present who didn't steal comic book characters?

I haven't. Though I did steal a few either from people I know or Jack Ryan novels...hence Director James Greer.

I snatch from a lot of sources. Granted, my FF snatching was mostly in SDNW4, where Rogue and I split up characters.

Normally I don't but since we made a point of it here I decided to steal one comic character of my own there.

Persona 4 and
Danganronpa started out as video games before they received comic adaptations, so I guess I got off on a technicality there.

The Umerian delegation arrives early and quietly, mostly because Dr. Mahogany wants to have some time to get settled down from the jet lag so he'll be at his best when the conference begins.

Well we've officially begun.
If any nation wants a one-to-one meeting with King Alexander, just ask.

Question: is this forum one where leaders of foreign delegations would be welcome to speak formally? Or is it just an opportunity for the king to make a speech and then everyone starts interacting socially?

This is merely the intitial reception/social event. The nitty negotiation stuff starts later.

Okay. I had a speech written for Dr. Mahogany, which I'd like him to get a chance to give, but I'm sure there will be opportunities to address the delegations at a later time.
