I've beaten anywhere between 1 to 15 Godlike bots on my computer, without cheating myself. Although it's very tiring
Playing them on a server is more difficult, since they *do* cheat and I've got lag to worry about. They're bots, after all. Although I can typically stand toe-to-toe with them...
I would like a server that was active enough not to require bots unless someone was on during the hours that no one is online... but when does that ever happen on SD.net?

The typical amount that most UT servers have the bots turn off is at 4 players. Anything less and bots are active.
However, given that my DSL connection only has 128 kbps up, I don't think you guys want a server running from my house. Does anyone have access to a T1?
I was a 56ker for ages. Try playing over an AOL connection that averaged 34k down. My ping always hovered between 300 and 400, and I was always getting dropped from servers.
I've got 768k down now, but only 128 up. So I still can't run a server.
Count me in. I can reinstall UT this weekend. I usually use the name Antiochus.
Any city gets what it admires, will pay for, and, ultimately, deserves…We want and deserve tin-can architecture in a tinhorn culture.
