Val Kilmer: Top Gun, Batman, Dies Aged 65
Val Kilmer: A Difficult, Brilliant, Underrated and Unpredictable Film Star

Died at home of Pneumonia, after surviving throat cancer a few years back.

Personally, I think his best role was Doc Holiday in "Tomestone".

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

Certainly one of his best, though he'll always be Chris Knight and Madmartigan's gay love child to me, and his scene in the Top Gun sequel made me mist up a little.

From what I've gathered he was having health issues a lot after that cancer but still a shame, he was a good actor.

I must have been living under a rock but I totally missed this until I logged into this board.

The last I saw of Val Kilmar was a random cameo on the TV Show, Psych.
