Looks more like a heavily modified Actis.

Fighters, all in a perfect, tight line like that... yeah. Still stupid. Maybe FO pilots are dumb enough to pull something like that, but line-astern in such tight formation is just not happening unless they're all slaved together or something similarly dumb. There's a major reason fighters 'break' when entering combat, and Poe just demonstrated it.

What the fuck? Much too big. That cockpit is elongated, where the Actis was round. If it's roughly the same width (it has to be, otherwise they couldn't fit a pilot), then it's much longer, and it looks smaller compared to the ship than the cockpit on an Actis does. The ship is much bigger than an Actis, and much bulkier. If it's just a modified one, it'd be like modifying an X-wing into a Z-95. My guess, it's an earlier model. Eta-1, maybe. Or the product of a stupid artist. Given the rest of the comic, it's probably that one.

It was loaned to him by Grakkus the Hutt, which heavily implies that it was some sort of Jedi fighter.

Yeah, I guess that means it was a stupid artist. Sorry for blaming you.

For all we know, it could be some pre-ROTS relative of the Actis.

Download the picture so you can see it full-sized.
'Next time I let Superman take charge, just hit me. Real hard.'
'You're a princess from a society of immortal warriors. I'm a rich kid with issues. Lots of issues.'
'No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.'
'Tactically we have multiple objectives. So we need to split into teams.'-'Dibs on the Amazon!'
'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'

Interesting! I wonder if it was always meant to be a detachable ship or if it was just another greeble on the Resurgent before it was retconned into a ship.

Stupid wookiepedia link - but yeah it looks sort of like a ship given the way it looks like there's some kind of launch rail.

No, an E-Wing is a starfighter not a cannon.

Friend, they're making fun of you for your shitty grammar. A simple Google turns up that it looks like the E-Wing is, in fact, canon, thanks to Poe Dameron #23, which may be the comic we're discussing. At least according to Reddit.
