Zod does San Francisco (lol no 56k)
Might be better off in AMP, but eh whatevs. Anyway I'm finally back from my week in SF with tons of pics. Pretty much all of them were taken using my Olympus E-PL1, with 14-42mm kit lens and 40-150mm telephoto lens. Got a rather nasty sunburn out of the trip too, since I thought hiking to Sausalito with shorts from the Exploratorium was a great idea. (Turns out it was nearly 7 miles and took 4 hours to get there, ook.) Anyhoosits, here's a few snappys.

I thought I would look at your pictures instead. Yeah I went back to your post and saw that you already mentioned it, hence I went back and edited my post, but you had already replied.General Zod wrote:Read the post.mr friendly guy wrote:What camera did you use?

The Zoo is about 1.5 miles from my apartment. No joke.

I thought the Zoo would've taken me more time to go through than it did but it turns out I had plenty of time to see nearly everything I wanted there.
Also, the Academy of Science was way better than the Aquarium of the Bay.

Man, how come I've never been there but can recognize half the landmarks?

It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.

Glad you liked the city. Looks like you hit most of the sights, and the pictures look fantastic. hell, I live across the bay, go to SF frequently, and still enjoyed them!

There were a few bits and bobs I missed out on thanks to the sunburn. Didn't really have the time to include Alcatraz in it, and the hills sucked. Otherwise it's not a bad city. Too true.
Re: Zod does San Francisco (lol no 56k)
Hope you got/get a chance to hit the SF Maritime Visitor's Center. I helped with constructing/installing the new permanent exhibit there. There are some cheap places to eat if you know where to look, but SF is an expensive proposition to visit. (Going in on BART and using their excellent muni system makes it cheaper than driving and paying for/finding parking.)

I love the first one. The Bridge hidden by fog is beautiful
Nitram, slightly high on cough syrup: Do you know you're beautiful?
Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.
