Note to self: When the Lucrehulk and my Fedship are ready to survive much more dangerous anomalies, move to one of those to avoid DXIII.

Simpler solution; simply find a bunch of other guys who are...concerned about him like me and dogpile him. Lucrehulks won't last outnumbered three or four to one.
Besides DXIII, I doubt you will find many others in thsi new Lucrehulk fleet as willing to trust the Federation as you.

Before departing Ocampa system assist DXIII in eradicating those advocating attacking Earth.

So I stare wistfully at the Lightning for a couple of minutes. Two missiles, sharply raked razor-thin wings, a huge, pregnant belly full of fuel, and the two screamingly powerful engines that once rammed it from a cold start to a thousand miles per hour in under a minute. Life would be so much easier if our adverseries could be dealt with by supersonic death on wings - but alas, Human resources aren't so easily defeated.

I'm not taking any sides, they increase my chance of being a target exponentially. Besides, I trust the Federation so long as they do not act aggressive towards me or try to control me. If, however, anyone attacks Earth, I will assist the Federation.Eternal_Freedom wrote:Simpler solution; simply find a bunch of other guys who are...concerned about him like me and dogpile him. D13, I find it funny imagining you trying to control a fleet of thousands of heavy ships all by your self, especially since the droids only follow the orders of the person whose ship it was. Obviously you didn't think this through, and are rather disturbingly direct with your violence. Honestly if I couldn't sit there peacefully as a donut of doom I might as well start a protectorate out on the fringes of the galaxy. Hell go back to earth and get a colony of humans (preferably Maquis or someone who isn't so annoyingly pompous) and head out at flank speed to colonize the Large Megellanic Cloud.

Hmmm, in that case, fuck you all. I'm taking my starship into deep space and letting it run up to relativistic speeds. By the time I need to slow down for supplies, centuries will have passed and the rest of you will be dead. Maybe I'll even use some suspended-animation gear and take even longer.
By then, all the shite in the ST galaxy is long over and it's basically a whole new unkown galaxy to explore. I'll recruit a crew of like-minded idealists and travel the galaxy doing crazy shit. I'll turn my Lucrehulk into an earlier version of the Errant Venture. Giant casino ship with plenty of hanger space.

Re: SD.Net on TF ships above Ocampa(RAR)
I think I'll change my plan to the same line of thought as Eternal_Freedom's in that after I have a warp-drive equiped ship acquired from the Federation along with replicators and a holodeck, I'll stock up on raw materials and just set a course towards Andromeda at the fastest I can safely move, but disable the systems that get rid of time dilation in my quarters, so that the droids will continue their work (in this case, reverse engineering the UFP ship and upgrading it and building manufacturing facilities in the Lucrehulk) and I won't age almost at all, so that when I arrive at Andromeda I will have two ships, one with full manufacturing facilities and another equiped with both warp and hyperdrives, so that I can live a new life in a new galaxy. Of course, during the trip I will have had the droids work on immortality or at least life extension as well.

Re: SD.Net on TF ships above Ocampa(RAR)
Lets see...everyone gets a giant SW ship in ST space. This sounds awfully familiar. At any rate i'm not the genociding type so the first step will be to jump away from the chaos that is about to erupt when A. Destructionator does his me vs the world thing. B. Others decide to object to A and C. hundreds of low post count teenagers get a little too excited about playing with their new toys.
I'll come back in a few weeks when I get lonely and you lot have worked it all out of your system/demolished every celestial body in a few light years/ executed the stupid/ generally stopped the rampant shooting and then i'll simply join whichever faction is not planning genocide and has managed to organize the chaos. Unless i find a nice minor alien race out there while waiting for you lot to calm down, in which case i wont get lonely and you lot will never see me again.

Re: SD.Net on TF ships above Ocampa(RAR)
The core can land, but its legs can't support it for long in the launch position, so that means I would need time to escape should I choose this route. If it is possible to hide my presence on Ba'ku for long enough to study and artificially produce the "metaphasic radiation" thing, then I will do that before finding a planet which is sufficiently.... far from Federation space, so that I don't get caught in the crossfire.
Of course, this plan assumes that no one else would go to the planet as well.

My option is obvious:
1. Set up enormous bar/brothel on board to follow the fleet
2. Invite everyone to come aboard for R&R
3. ???
4. Profit!

Re: SD.Net on TF ships above Ocampa(RAR)
Well, this is four years before the events of Star Trek Insurrection, so the Sona and the Federation aren't in the Briar Patch.
Considering that, I think I'll set up shop there. That is, if I can figure out how to get there from the Ocampa system. If I'm successful in getting there, I'll set up a base in a nice place on the planet, far enough away from the Baku village that they will never see me. There I'll start setting up a manufacturing plant either on Baku or other planets in the system if I don't want to taint Baku. After all, odds are low its a single planet system.
Once my base and factory are up and running, I set up defenses around the planet and system. Best not to rely on stealth alone. If I'm able to achieve that, well, once I'm producing enough to be a power, I either help out the Federation or whoever from SD.net I think is worth backing. Hell, I might back the Maquis instead and make sure the Dominion don't wipe them out in a couple years.

Re: SD.Net on TF ships above Ocampa(RAR)
First order of business, get the hell away from Ocampa so I don't get attacked by people like D13.
Then make my way to somewhere like the Orion Syndicate, and set my ship up as a mobile trading station/nation...and get some Orion slave girls for my enjoyment, since I want some private company and don't want to indulge in advance self pleasure that is the holodeck.
And yes I know the Orion Synidcate are effectively the ST mafia, but I have a ship that can destroy fleets as well as an army of droids, they maybe criminals but they're not stupid and would probably see the benefits of keeping me on their side.

Here is an idea. You get the life support stuff, I will go acquire some holodecs and replicators and he can get us some slave girls (but none of those evil ones from Enterprise) and we can all meat up to run off and recreate the glory days of Rome in 3D. What do you think?
It has become clear to me in the previous days that any attempts at reconciliation and explanation with the community here has failed. I have tried my best. I really have. I pored my heart out trying. But it was all for nothing.
You win. There, I have said it.
Now there is only one thing left to do. Let us see if I can sum up the strength needed to end things once and for all.

Holodeck fun is not the same.
Well faxmodem, we could always emancipate the slave girls and just give them a nice lifestyle in exchange for casual sex. I would bet they'd take the deal, it's better than slavery.
