Really late reply, but I think it was one of two things:

-it was a taxidermy turtle, which upset the woman for obvious reasons
-it's another penis joke (turtles are considered phallic, IIRC)

Yeah . . . I finished watching the last episode today and that was a seriously "lolwut" moment. I don't see how they could pull off a Season 2 even if they really meant it.

There was never any real continuity between episodes anyway, so if they did another series it would just be a reset button job.

How exactly is a turtle phallic? I'm just not seeing that; an armored not-quite-a-circle and a penis are two very different things.

Considering the source and NSFW tag, I am sorely disappointed. I do like the animation though.

I'm catching up to the series currently, and honestly, it doesn't have nearly as much fan service as I thought - or as much as people who haven't seen it complain it does. The more detailed art shift moments are few and far between, and the typical raunchy nudity is obviously too clunky to be titillating. They could have milked that transformation sequence every single episode, but they didn't. Instead, it seems like the writing's genuinely trying to be funny, even if it's low-brow as hell. (On my part, I found the monkey lawyer thing hilarious...)

Also, the soundtrack's out by now, and it's pretty good. I especially like "Champion".

The monkey lawyer was a parody of Phoenix Wright, in case you weren't aware.

Oh, I'm aware. But I was mostly referring to the "lawyers are stupid" gag.

Was the 13th episode a season ending? Because if it was, it was a weird one.

No, not really, in fact I watch the show mostly because it always amuses me how they can get things even more insane.

But seriously, was that the end of the season?

Yeah it was the end. PanSuto was only picked up for one season, though obviously Imaishi and co want to do a second season. The first BD/DVD release was only a few days ago so it's not really clear how profitable the series will be, but it must have been dead cheap to make so barring any issues with Bill 156 a second season seems pretty much inevitable. Speaking of, there's a OVA episode on the first release.

And the OST is boss. The series had some really great music.

Actually thinking of the OST, the secret track has Panty and Stocking actually confirming that the show has been picked up for a second season.
