The humble Indie Bundle

You can buy the following games in one bundle, for whatever price you think is right for them!!! Part of your payment goes to charity, the portion selectable by you even!

Games included are:
- Aquaria (great side-scrolling, underwater adventure, I really recommend it).
- Gish (a physics-heavy game)
- Lugaru HD (an updated version of Lugaru, I don't reccomend it but some might find it more fun than others)
- Penumbra Overtune (one of the rare horror games that actually deserve the title)
- World of Goo (building physics simulator, surprisingly fun).
Credo!

Ah poo I got it when it was "only" 66% off (~$13). :P I recommend it though, and unfortunately the G11 keyboard is sold out. :(

Majesty 2 is 75% off and Euro Universalis 3 Complete and Hearts of Iron 3 are both 50% off. Are the games worth getting?

The Majesty series is really something you need to try to see if you like. I know fileplanet has a demo. You might be better off waiting for them to come out with a Majesty 2 Gold edition (and it going on sale eventually) if you like the game, as the current game and the new DLC apparently lack a freeplay mode, and are supposedly somewhat imbalanced, from what I hear. Freeplay mode is apparently a large part of what gave the original replay value, hopefully they'll add it in future DLC. Again I recommend you track down the demo for Majesty 2, and try it yourself to decide, as it's a blend of sim like games and RTSs and thus has rather unique gameplay. If you like the gameplay/concept you may want to consider the original, Majesty Gold, as well which steam has for $10. I tried the Majesty 2 demo and liked it, I'm thinking about grabbing the original whilst taking my own advice regarding Majesty 2. Final note the original apparently uses the Power Regulator Scheduler (maybe registration?) and gets picked up as Malware by MS brand security software, removing it apparently causes no problems.

I believe Shep has A HoI III review thread around here somewhere.

Finally, Steam has DoW II, the expansion Chaos Rising, and DoWII Gold on sale 50% off ($15,$15,$20 respectively) this weekend.

Majesty 2 didn't solve any of the Majesty problems (such as awful level design and extremely limited management depth). If you play a demo you'll basically have played the whole game; there just aren't that many decisions to be made beyond 'spam rangers' and 'quick buy all upgrades'.

If the screen wasn't so small, I'd prefer Majesty itself.

Ah crap I bought. Oh well, only 7.50. Shep's HoI 3 review mostly pointed out the fact the game was an unplayable mess of bugs. Although Steam ended the sale for HoI and EU 3 so it doesn't really matter now.

Bethesda games are half price on Steam. As is TF2.

More importantly:

Dangerous High School Girls In Trouble! is now Mac and PC on Steam. It's a little odd at times in terms of gameplay, but has one of the best, actually mature (not just BLOOD AND TITS! mature) plots in gaming.

This deal probably deserves it's own thread as much as that Wii deal that sold out in an hour, but I'll post it here:

Target is clearing out it's stock of Xbox 360s at ridiculous prices. Currently they're selling the Arcade (no hard drive) version plus a $50 Target gift card for $130. It may come without a hard drive, but you can take that gift card and buy a 16gb flash drive and then use that as storage for it.

That deal is only available in stores though, if you want to purchase it online you'll have to get the Spring 2010 Bundle that includes Banjo Kazooie and Viva Pinata plus a $30 gift card for $150.

Current-model 360s are getting cut down all over the world, and being offered ridiculous prices in trade for the new model. It's a good time to upgrade; in Brisbane I can get a $220 trade for an Elite.

Or you could trade your dying/old 360 and get a slim that's quieter and (lol) less likely to die, then spend the money you saved on an actual media player thingo for $80.

But the problem then becomes -how much can I get (if anything) on trade-in for a 360 with a dead optical drive?

And yeah, I am going to hold out for the "slim", mainly because the good Elite bundles at local JBs are all gone already.

Can anyone recommend some of the 53 RPGs they have for sale there? I've been hankering for something other than Diablo 2.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

GAME AU is currently offering insane $250 trades on 120gb Elites; a 360 Slim can be had for $199.

I'm getting mine, oh yes. It's like a cheap replacement for my massively dead controller!

In addition, GAME AU are currently going BANANAS with clearance stock. Games starting from $2 (for really shit ones) and useful stuff like charging docks w/2 battery packs from $8.

It varies from store to store (price as well as stock), but well worth checking out.

I snaffled RF:G for PC for $8 as on my TV it just looked muddy and blurry, plus it's still not on trade-in exclusion lists...

Speaking of trade-ins, GAME are also doing 1:1 trade ins on some titles right now
