The upper crust of society is instead very much susceptible to Tzeentch and Slaanesh. In worlds were people hold personal honour in high esteem, and duels with deadly weapons are common, those who often engage in duels may also be susceptible to Khorne worship. You could even have a triple-pantheon combo in a prideful, shameless, dastardly, wanker of a nobleman.

I do agree that the four Chaos Gods would probably tend to poach on very different grounds.

Actually, Nurgle worship, based on "Oh god, I don't ever want to die" might be understandable amongst the upper crust.

I doubt it. Firstly because both Tzeentch and Slaanesh can promise immortality, and secondly because the upper crust tends to be rather self-assured of their righteousness, or at least convince themselves they are, and they will go to God-Emperor Heaven or whatever it's supposed to be.

I wouldn't be supriced if there was at least some degree off self deception, like a noble taking a daemon weapon/chaos relic from a Tzeentch champion/Daemon/shrine and thinking "I this is a powerfull weapon, I'll use it, surely nothing can happen to me I'm *insert excuse here*"

and by the time they realisce that the tainted was controlling them and not the other way around they too far gone to care anymore.
