[VOTE] 1st ALL NON-FICTION "Block Mods"

A failed experiment whereby board users were invited to advise the Senate, and instead attempted to replace the Senate.

[VOTE] 1st ALL NON-FICTION "Block Mods"

Post by Coyote »

Here is where it can get confusing:

Many people were nominated for NON-FICTION forums, but the vote can only support 10 options. So I am going to divide this into 2 threads.

This one is the first vote thread, where we select Moderators for ALL Non-Fiction Forums together. The NEXT vote thread will sub-divide it into individual Forums within the NON-Fiction forum block.

Non-Fiction Forum Block (ie SLAM, N&P, AMP):
Alyrium Denryle (US Central Time)
General Zod (US Mountain Time; frequent availability)
Stark (Eastern Australian Time: GMT +10)
GrandMasterTerwyn (US Mountain Time)
Simplicius (US Eastern Time)
Surlethe (US Eastern Time)

Vote for one or all. Admins, as always, have final determination.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

Surlethe is years overdue, Simplicius a fair amount overdue. I don't remember Zod or GMT. Stark is just an ass, and is suitable more for a horseman than anything else. Alyrium would be a good SLAM mod, but is too excitable to be an effective mod on some N&P topics.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? A country isn't a rock. It's not an extension of one's self. It's what it stands for. It's what it stands for when standing for something is the most difficult! - Chief Judge Haywood

Simplicius a fair amount overdue.
Probably but while his posts are good, it's hard (for me) to tell if he'd make a good mod from them. Winning best in show is a different challenge from hauling fighting mutts apart. ;)

Stark is much more mature than he looks.

The votes will be open until Friday morning, my time (about noon GMT). At that point I'll lock them and the Admin Staff will have all the time in the world to contemplate the board's recommendations.
