Armageddon (or to be more formal The Salavation War: Armageddon) only appears on SDN; its SDN's story just as the TBOverse tales are HPCA's story. However, Armageddon will be going into print in due course - in fact we need to start thinking about a cover design etc very shortly.

The caveat I would add to that is that once a particular part of Heaven's been exploded thoroughly enough, we understand cratered rubble quite well.

I know this isn't what'll happen, but I envisage a Havokeff-style spread showcasing all the characters who have appeared in more than one chapter. You know, kind of like a 90's Batman movie poster :D

Sadly, military-heavy fic usually works better with simple covers that give away almost nothing, like this.

I'll be glad to edit Armageddon when the time comes for that, just like I edited all the TBO novels. Its quite a relaxing way to spend an evening. How's the word-count between your standard TBO novel and armagedoon stack up?

What do you actually end up doing during your relaxing evening?

Watch TV and edit a novel, with a bacon-tini for refreshment. Its a nice way to go about it.

I really think it'd need something that says 'this involves Satan getting shot in the face' on the cover, no matter how minimal it gets...

EDIT: I wonder, how well one could do a bronze trident broken and crushed into the mud/sand by a caterpillar-track track.

Uh... I don't think Satan's going to get shot in the face. I'd like to see the Battle of the Dunes, personally.

Again. I wasn't being literal. I mean it needs something that obviously says it has a 'supernatural' or 'infernal' tone. As opposed to normal war-fiction.

The scary thing is... I can see that as a Tom Clancy book cover.

Needs flames though.

There could be the basis of a good idea there. Replace the gray with black and flames, put a better picture of Satan's head in the scope and we have something to work with

I think you'd want Satan to be snarling angrily, and not actually looking right at you. Something like this:

"It's not evil for God to do it. Or for someone to do it at God's command."- Jonathan Boyd on baby-killing

"you guys are fascinated with the use of those "rules of logic" to the extent that you don't really want to discussus anything."- GC

"I do not believe Russian Roulette is a stupid act" - Embracer of Darkness

"Viagra commercials appear to save lives" - tharkûn on US health care.

That sort of Satan requires a sonic screwdriver, I'd think.

It'd be nice to have Satan to look sort of like a nightmare (as in Mike Wong's suggestion) but for him to also be recognizably human.

I enjoyed the Michael part greatly. I'm reminded of Good Omens, incidentally.

Looks like Yahweh is an addict as well. He seems rather unfocused, or was that description referring to Michael?
Turns out that a five way cross over between It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the Ali G Show, Fargo, Idiocracy and Veep is a lot less funny when you're actually living in it.

Nice, though I'd switch fonts between 'Salvation War' and Armageddon. Maybe to some 'CLASSIFIED' military stamp font?

Unfortunately, that one isn't, it's 'Satan' from Doctor Who.
