A new cake has been rolled out of the Hapan Culinary Construction Guild.

From the pictures can you name the famous building?

What Famous building is this patterened after and Where is it? Also who is the famous architect?

Well, putting the picture of the actual building next to it makes it much too easy, but I immediately could tell that it was the Guggenheim Museum in New York, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. :P

From what I can tell, it's pretty good considering that it's made out of standard cake mix and frosting.

you didn't vote to rate the cake

thanks for the feedback. I'd give my right arm for a proper mixer so i can have more control over the cake density. Makes for better scuplting.

Hmm, looks good, but I'd probably invest in one of those cheapo frosting sets with the different nibs. They have some of the flatter, wider nibs that might have helped with the thicker stripes. As-is, I think it looks really nice! Also, you might want to see if you can find fondant in your area (or find a good recipe.) It's exceptional for a smooth, professional finish on cakes and is very easy to sculpt :).

You could tell what is was before i frosted and decorated it. Wow that speaks volumes about how distinctive the shape of the building is. Do you think I should have added the annex to the cake?
