SG1 Avalon: The Puzzles *spoilers*

So, I've been trying to figure out the puzzles. There's 2 of them. First up is Mitchell's, which I think I get.

Now, am I insane, or are those not "runes" but arabic numerals mirrored?

The first 5 are 5, 8, 3, 6, 1, and then I can't see the others.

More clear. What if they're just supposed to put the numbers in order? They'd have had Arabic numerals in britain by then, wouldn't they?

As for Daniel and Vala's puzzle, I think the 2 pots were "The Universe is Infinite" and "Treasures lie within." Now, the Ancients valued knowledge above all else, so what if the "Universe" pot nests inside the "treasure" pot?

Anyone else got any ideas?

The last three tiles are 4 7 2. it's a bit hard to make them out, but the 2 is easiest.

The "Ancient" writing is just English with a different font, at least from SG-1 seasons 7 or so onwards and Atlantis (earlier eps had errors which get fixed in later eps).

The pots are simple. Both statements are wrong. Therefore, there is a third pot.

Before I read that, I'll throw in that I got '...lect on the eight...' out of that.

Someone suggested stacking the pots... making "Universe is Infinite" the "Treasure" in the pot.

I don't know. It strikes me as the logical conclusion, as both statements referring to the pots are false.
