Imperial Wiki!

On a lark and due to a suggestion by the esteemed Lord Poe, I created a wiki at http://www.stardestroyer.net/wiki but now, a question comes to mind: what the fuck do I do with this thing now? Can anyone offer any suggestions?

A homepage with the site's history might be a good place to start. Articles on each forum would also be must-haves.

As SoE said, user articles, even to the level of a simple page for anyone who wishes to create one. Articles on popular debates and fallacies, key points of the board's history, that sort of thing.

I'd start with a simple overview of both sides tech, and expand into more detail from there.

Categorize everything as we think of it. If we do calcs for a weapon or piece of equipment, we make an entry for it and include the calcs and proof, etc.

Basically a source for vs. data and the like.

Hell, Mike could port the descriptions from his hate-mail page into there, with pages for each asshat.

A history of the debate, where it has been and other goodies others have mentioned.

On another note, is this wiki pure sw vs st? I havent heard of any wikis that are like this, or will it encompass all the stuff (the sci-fi and fantasy) that is discussed here?

I don't know if this would work on wiki but how about an "English-to-trektard" dictionary similar to your fundy phrase dictionary?

First two entries:

English
Destroy
Trektard definition: totally vaporize by the impacting weapon, even if the target has powderkeg warpcore on board.

Affect
Trektard definition: totally destroy everything within its stated range.

Sure, go nuts. I'm kind of waiting for people to create articles so I can get a feel for what this thing is going to be like, since I've never done wiki before and this is all alien to me.

PS. I honestly don't know how to run one of these things so I'm still learning. Eventually I'm sure I'll need some help in terms of administering the thing too.

GHETTO: I'm curious how much of a wiki this is intended to be: the whole idea of 'everyone edits' is fucking retarded. What's to keep it going the same way as other wikis, particularly when the Moron Brigade notices the link?

Wong has administrative powers and that includes securing a thread from alterations from anyone he doesn't approve of.

Not very efficient. Just using the same accounts and keeping an eye on idiots would probably be more effective.

Also, I'm a noob and can't work out images in wiki.

It should encompass everything SDnet, including the oft-recited "style over substance" bullshit, and expose sw.com, TFN, and Sarli for the turds they are.

More importantly, it should highlight the Mess, Gale, ARSE, etc.

Someone should start a sister wiki for ASVS. I'm tired of reading the misinformed bullshit on both sites in the generic sw vs st wiki.

JSF and I are the only people contributing at the moment (and we don't know how wiki tags work lol), but 'JMSpock' certainly exists. I'm about to go to work so I don't have time for any real content, and you've got awesome piles of great shit to put on there.
