Note: the author has not granted permission to repost his fiction on this board (or any other place, AFAIK). Links only, and maybe a quote for a particular section you might want to discuss.

Oh yes, this isn't fanfic, this is original fiction :P

Odd, for most people it was working. I changed the host to SDN, though.

In regards to that fic(Only up to chapter 4 atm): Australia as a military power. Hmm, interesting. Do they actually do anything? :D

I'd like to know what the plot is before I emotionally invest myself in this literary experience.

Lord Halifax succesfully executes a coup in 1940, deposing Churchill and agreeing to Nazi demands (no bomber command, defensive fighters only, etc.) Fast forward to 1947 when the US decides that it is time to finish of the Nazi menace.

Fairly right wing fic based on if Britain was taken out of the war with Lord Halifax coup in 1940. The right wing stuff isnt very subtle at all.

Nor is it really that long.

Some of the left-wing bashing was wholly intentional, as the author used some of the online personalities of people on that board (the Senior Chief in particular).

No it doesn't. Delphi Forums sucks. It sucks so bad that no other form of webboard can be truly called sucky in comparison.

Good story. It is a bit too long but I think I will read it.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

One part of me was shuddering with horror at the idea of wiping out an entire western country for the deeds of a tiny minority of Nazis. All those beautiful blond women...

The other part was sniggering. So long, Krautheads!

the part about making bombers that go faster then missles at the end was funny. imagining bombers going 15000 mph would be cool (for ICBM speeds)

It isn't that the B-100 can go faster than ICBMs, but that they are in that range and that they can maneuver.

There where many other pusher designs after WW1, the B-36 and some other planes made use of it because the engines don't distrube the airflow over the wings nearly as much, thus giving better lift.
