I wonder how will all the Christians go when they learn we killed Jesus (again)

That's a bit too cartoony, IMO. But I agree: that's how the normal infantry demon would look like.
About the other Archdukes, I wonder if they looked like their usual depictions. For example, Beelzebub is a big insect, Dagon is a merman, etc.
And HUMANITY said: "it is our duty, not as men or women, not as black or white, but as HUMANS, to defend our species from utter annihilation and damnation. These Beings that for so long believed themselves masters of our destiny finally dropped their facade. HUMANITY will, as one, declare WAR on them. HUMANITY is master of its' own destiny. And we will fight to the last"

I did this one today and I'm planning on doing one of that tank that kills the first angel in a bit. Thanks for the comments.

(Though I don't feel quite right cluttering up this thread with pictures. Though I guess it's ok since there is going to be a cleaned up version later on?)

Well, they're supposed to be gengineered/selectively bred humans, so i don't think Beelzebub would be an insect. As for Dagon, he's seen walking around in Dis when it's under siege, in the later parts of the curbstomp war, so he can't be a merman. Unless he like, has a merman tail as well as legs, which might be cool...

Just a SWAG (Scientific Wild-Ass Guess) on my part but to take to two examples I would think Belzebub would probably look like the typical demon with maybe an insectoid cast (mandibles, maybe compound eyes although that's unlikely since it wasn't mentioned and it's the sort of thing that would be because it would affect his perceptions) to his features, likewise Dagon and ichthyioid features (scales, maybe gills).

I believe Book 3, from what Stuart has droped is best summed up as "We've conquered Heaven and Hell, now what do we do with them? Oh shit." possibly also we might meet the devils mentioned here and there and members of other pantheons. I'd also like to see something doe with the "orcs" who apparently were the original inhabitants of Hell. For that matter why haven't we seen anything involving integrating them into our armed forces. Hey, maybe we can do a LOTR remake, with Tolkien supervising and with actual orcs! Incidentally, how would JRR react to Peter Jackson's interpatation of the novels? He always thought that the books were unfilmable.

If he is an angel, because then we couldn't have *really* killed him. If Human/Nephilim, then he wouldn't be able to stay in earth for too long(since he would be dead, had we killed him or not,due to old age).
Perhaps he could be a young version of what Yaweh/Satan is.

Well, after the ME is done we'll know for sure. Of course, that assumes we leave enough to even examine.

Hello, new guy here.

I asked Stuart this but hopefully he's too busy writing, anyway a friend of mine recommended that I check out these stories and after reading the first chapter of Armageddon I realized how awesome it is...then I found Stravo's compilation and realized it was practically as long as a book. No problem I thought, I'll just read it in my ereader.

However after cutting and pasting the first 3 or 4 chapters from the first story from thread into a word document, that got kind of old quick. So I was wondering if any of you had the story compiled somewhere and you could send it to me? If you do, please PM me so I can send you my e-mail Thanks.

I was simply talking about the basic anatomy sans the head. It's not to include the firebreathing, flaming whip, and vorpal sword.

hey, first time poster, but been following the story since the start, great read so far..though... i do agree with what someone said a bit back about it being a little Americocentric. I'm Canadian ;) and our special forces DO hold the current long distance sniping record. give the Canucks a lil screen time. :D

Actually, Stuart intends to publish this story someday, so the assembly and printing of a Word document would be considered a copyright violation. Please try to content yourself with reading it on-line, until such time as the dead-tree version becomes available.

Stu does accept contributions from other authors, so if you are so inclined add a Canadian scene. Some of the non-US scenes in Armageddon were written by others, as were some of the earlier parts of Pantheocide.
I've been a bit too busy with my own work to contribute much this time around.

Didn't know that, I guess it kinda makes sense. Though I don't know of a publisher that would be happy that the story he's trying to sell is posted for free online.

We don't exactly know what it is, but we do know for sure he was never on Earth.
At least, not personally. The 'Jesus' the Romans killed was a human possessed by actual Jesus. It was his Avatar, if you will.

Could you please point me to the part that says that Jesus was nerver phisically on earth?

Jesus possesses people. That's probably easy for him to do, but if the Jesus of mythology being some random guy being possessed ends up as canon (is that what you meant?) then this story will enter a whole new level of subverting religion. Which, as an atheist, i consider awesome. Also, as someone who likes messing with the agreed dogma. Because posessing a dude is like mind rape.

So i guess when he was resurrected, that would be...
actual jesus using mind powers to look like random-possessed-guy-jesus?
some other random guy who looks pretty similar, given stigmata and possessed?

I hadn't thought about it before, but if he's actually the son of yahweh, which seems to be the case, then he should be huge, like yahweh and the higher-ranked angels, so he couldn't have been the jesus that walked among humanity on earth, unless angels grow really slowly, and don't grow wings until adolescence or later. It should be surprising for the army when they see a gigantic angel leading the angelic host, because that's not what Jesus is meant to look like, to them.
Not that that'll help him in the slightest, he'll still be singled out on the basis of "big guy in angelic/demonic armies = commander" and pulverised by HE.

Also, how would yahweh have a son? He doesn't seem to have a wife/concubine/harem, and i'm not sure how much bigger than any of the females he might be. Let alone a human female like in the mythology... squick.

What Jesus is, then, is a good question.

Stuart said so himself, off-story.

Indeed it is what I meant.

Even better: it was the reanimated corpse of Christ
Possession works on EM impulses, subverting them to the possessor's will, doesn't it? Jesus kept possessing Christ even after he died by feeding him impulses, keeping his body alive. Think super possession.

Did that and with extensive use of formatting and find/replace, ended up with a halfway decent html.

BTW: ignore my previous post, I looked around and Stuart sells his books on Lulu, always a good choice. I'd buy them if they weren't in dead tree format.
