What is the dumbest thing you ever said?

Post by Asst. Asst. Lt. Cmdr. Smi »

A few days ago, I was explaining why the X-wings on the DS weren't going at 70,000km/s with "full throttle", by saying gravity reduced their speeds. That was stupid of me, and by the time I realized that, it would be a day before I could get to a computer again! I should give myself a ing. That was stupid, even by my standards! Will any of you confess something you said that you wish you could take back?

In a classic example of a Freudian slip, I was once talking to my sister-in-law, and I wanted to ask her if she wanted to be "intellectually stimulated" (and then I was gonna tell her about some really cool game or something).

I sputtered "sexually stimulated". In front of my older brother (her husband), my parents, and my grandparents.

Boy. Was that stupid.

Jeeze, with competition like that, it's as though I've never said anything stupid at all.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'
