In my country (Indonesia), most people think that a male that insist to be single like me must be a gay..... or lonely pervert. Those dumbass can't simply accept that bachelors are simply normal people who have girlfriends and wonderful life like others; we just choose to be single for our indulgence.

Also, they tend to label hedonists as irresponsible and immature people. Shit, a co-worker of mine even remarked that I doesn't deserve to be a project manager due to my "immature behaviour". When I asked her what made her think I'm immature, she pointed to my hedonism as reason. She further accused me as an atheist (not that I have any problem with atheism; I'm actually interested in atheism. The point is that I don't like to be labelled something that I'm not), simply because I'm a hedonist.

I just wonder: can people like my co-worker simply accept that one's behaviour OUTSIDE office hour has absolutely NOTHING TO DO with his professional capability????

People that play stringed instruments (Violin/Viola/Cello/Bass/Harp/Piano) are uptight, stuck-up, rich little bitches and bastards. I am Gothic and, for the most part, dress all skatery. And I play the Viola and Violin, with willingness to learn Piano and Cello.

I hate the stereotype that Anime fans are perverted non-realistic cartoon fans (which also includes the fact that I hate people who think anime = cartoon), I hate the stereotype that coffee drinkers are wigged out grumps (though I may be a grump its NOT due to the coffee I drink), guitarist are satanistic death metal people or beatnicks (that always pissed me off cause I'm neither yet both), that geeks are weak, small, lifeless individuals with no other interests (I may stay home a lot but I'm a strong, angry individual with many other interests), and that pesamists are bad people. I absolutly hate the fact that I'm considered an overall bad person because I may be cynical or pesamistic. Stupid bright, chirpy people.

Hear, hear. Anime, to me, is often more satisfying than the pure feces coming out of Hollywood. Spirited Away is a thousand times better than any of the garbage Disney has put out in recent years (and methinks the fact that Disney is distributing anime is an attempt to cover up the fact that several of their productions stole from anime, most notably The Lion King). I mean, how different are we from fans of romance flicks? Or action fans? Or the mouth-breathers who jack off to "films" like The Fast and the Furious and xXx?
