I have just heard a local news reporter use the term "September 11" at least once during a report on a company's bankruptcy. Obviously, he meant to say "Chapter 11."
Now we can blame Osama for bankruptcies too

You never know; 9/11 might enter the lexicon as a synonym for disaster or terrorism, like the way "Pearl Harbour" is used as a slang term for sneak attacks in some circles.
