PSA: If you're in Hurricane Florence's path, prep now

It might be too late for those already ordered out of the coastal areas, but if you're in Florence's path top up the cars now, follow FEMA guidelines on food and water(1 gal per person per day), and get some batteries and a standalone shortwave radio. Check lumber yards(rather than Home Depot) if you need to board places up, and make sure you have all your meds.
Also, be advised, but some municipalities are already declaring curfews and telling the locals that you cannot transport weapons or possess them outside of your private premises. There does not appear to be any carve outs for legal carry permits, unless your are a first responder.
