I know that we don't have a ton of hockey fans around here, but the draft and then free agency is almost upon us and I figured that I'd start a thread for it.
The Canucks are my team and this offseason they'll be looking to grab some 2nd and 3rd round draft picks to replace the picks traded away this season. On the block are one of Eddie Lack and Jacob Markstrom to ease up the goaltending situation. Players such as Chris Higgins, Radim Vrbata, Zack Kassian, and Kevin Bieksa are also likely to be in play. In the rumor mill, we're said to be interested in prying the 3rd overall pick away from Carolina or making a bid to get Ryan O'Reilly away from Colorado. If nothing changes the Canucks will have picks 23, 114, 144, 149, and 174 in Friday's draft.
