There was a thread about this a while back, but yeah this looks like a laugh

I don't know what has inspired this 80s retro wave of stuff like Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and Power Glove (the band) amongst other thing but goddamn do I enjoy it.

I'd say it's that people who had their childhood's in the 80's are now old enough and are commanding enough power and influence to revisit those heady years in their favoured medium. I look forward to the Millenial throwback in 2030 or so :P

To put it in further perspective: one decade ago, That 70s Show was airing. And if high school memory serves, bell-bottom jeans were experiencing a bit of a comeback.

Would go along way towards explaining the prevalence of high schoolers now with flat top hair cuts, those puffy vest things like Marty wore in BTTF, and those cheesy ass 80s style plastic sunglasses with arms different colors from the frame.

Wow ... welcome to 2013. Though I heard it's mostly done, but that was months ago.

And Disney just got schooled. I like these Fury and Tor much better. Thank you!

I was just hanging around in an open air cinema in a virtual reality low poly forest and somebody put that movie on. That was awsome.

My suspension of disbelief was destroyed by the scene where Hacker Man emulates a time machine using a ZX Spectrum, a MicroBee 32 and a Power Glove. Specifically, the MicroBee should have been programmed using MicroWorld BASIC or Z80 assembler, but the source code was clearly in Java. :)

Sorry, greatest movie of 2015 is Mad Max.

This, however, looks like it'll push Avengers 2 down to #3... :D
"The 4th Earl of Hereford led the fight on the bridge, but he and his men were caught in the arrow fire. Then one of de Harclay's pikemen, concealed beneath the bridge, thrust upwards between the planks and skewered the Earl of Hereford through the anus, twisting the head of the iron pike into his intestines. His dying screams turned the advance into a panic."'

Glorious(ly cheesy) 80's awesomeness.

One wonders how it would've been if they'd reach their secondary goal of $1 million and made a full-length film.
'Ai! ai!' wailed Legolas. 'A Balrog! A Balrog is come!'
Gimli stared with wide eyes. 'Durin's Bane!' he cried, and letting his axe fall he covered his face.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'

Finally saw the full movie. Hitler attacking the police station, the "Tank you"-oneliner and Triceracop* shooting nazis had me laughing out loud.

It could have be only be more awesome if Hackerman showed up in an ED-209 suit
