I had heard about this but I hadn't realized how far along it'd come, I still thought even a teaser was a year away. I'm cautiously alright with the animation as shown thus far. Little else to say at this point, I suppose.

It pays a bit to watch it in full screen HD. You can actually see Snoopy's fur. Honestly, at first, I felt like being a purist and was sort of determined to hate the CG. But after watching it a couple times, I have to say that I'm OK with it. I even like the color palate now. I'm also happy they stuck to the character designs pretty much completely, even down to the squiggly nature of Charlie Brown's smile. According to Peanuts Wiki, the Shulz family is producing and writing this one, so it may turn out to be pretty good.

Well this has great potential to go horribly, horribly wrong. But I can't help but hope that it will work out better than most of the recent nostalgia movies.
