I'm detecting a distinctly alcoholic theme here.
Baltar: "I don't want to miss a moment of the last Battlestar's destruction!"
Centurion: "Sir, I really think you should look at the other Battlestar."
Baltar: "What are you babbling about other...it's impossible!"
Centurion: "No. It is a Battlestar."

Corrax Entry 7:17: So you walk eternally through the shadow realms, standing against evil where all others falter. May your thirst for retribution never quench, may the blood on your sword never dry, and may we never need you again.

For my first Christmas at home since 2009, I got:

Archer Turtleneck

Molecular Cuisine Starter Kit

Tactical Chef Apron

Cuisinart 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Hot Water System

Yes, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen when not in the Danger Zone.

Also, a set of warm pajama bottoms from Target.

Christmas gifts given out this year include a micro fleece blanket, bottle of banana rum, 25mm replica round, the same Archer shirt I myself got, the Archer HR dolphin, and posters of Amtrak's City of New Orleans and California Zephyr trains with frames.
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

From my friendship Secret Santa, I got a copy of Witches Abroad, signed by Terry Pratchett, and the Discworld Mapp.

From my family I got a £20 voucher, and a steering wheel cover and windshield frost cover. Not the best year for gifts, I have to say! Still, I'll use the voucher, and I know the car gifts were very last minute.

It's also easy to obtain at short notice and is generally always appreciated even though everyone knows it's a late-notice thing. You're right, it is ideal :D Speaking of which, where's my beer gone?

A few books "2312" by Kim Stanley Robinson, finally got a hard copy of "cryptonomicon" and got "Simpsons and their mathematical secrets" by Simon Singh. A lot of reading to do! Hope it doesn't distract me from revision lol.

Main loot: A Lexicon Alpha desktop recording studio, an Applied Research and Technology Tube MP (an in between for recording with a vacuum tube), and a license for PreSonus Studio One Artist.
Instead of foodservice equipment, let's play with large format projectors.

A few different beers
A google chromecast
a Bluetooth portable speaker
$100 in best buy gift certificates
movie tickets
a hoodie sweater
a Cuisinart toaster oven
Man of Steel and Captain America Blu-rays
A couple of heavy metal CDs
Assorted sweets

I feel spoiled, I'm actually considering re-gifting some of this stuff.
