Introducing Sophie Elizabeth Smith (Apr.Fools)
So it's been 3 months and I'm finally past the "danger zone" according to my OB/GYN, so I've decided I can't wait any longer to tell everybody. I've got a little girl on the way, and her name is Sophie Elizabeth Smith. My due date is September 11th (not even joking wtf) and she's looking very healthy as of my last ultrasound.

It would be tangential to either improved organ transplants or growing artificial organs. Inserting a new uterus into a person will probably be tried first with women (in fact, I seem to recall hearing the Saudis trying it but I can't find a cite) but once perfected they might well be used by transfolk and the intersex as well as those who have lost those bits to disease or trauma.
