Actually it happens to be simply impossible for me to go in April.

I am thinking about May (precise date will depend on CERN, although this time I won't trust them and ask again if the date is really available, heh). Let me know if May 2014 is fine.

Yup.

It seems that May 2014 fine for most of the visitors. It will certainly be a Saturday, too, since we can't really take too many vacation days. If CERN says everything's booked and nothing can be done about it... well, then it will fail, but if they give me one of those May weekends, reassembling the group won't be a huge issue.

Some more bad news: CERN has not been able to provide us with another date that would be reasonably close. We have waited for more than two weeks, but April and the following month are both completely booked out. It seems that for the time being the trip has to be cancelled.

And suddenly good news: there's a possibility that it will still happen, date moved to May 3rd (03.05.2014). I'll keep everyone updated on the arrangements.

The trip's a go, date of the actual CERN visit is 03.05.2014 and the time's 14:00, and we'll meet at the CERN building ~30 minutes in advance. The date and time won't be moved anymore. We have enough people, but everyone's welcome onboard.

Once again reminding that 03.05.2014, at 14:00 sharp in front of the CERN main tourist entrance (building 33), the tour of the LHC will start. We are assembling the group half an hour in advance. I am the group leader, so PM me or leave a comment in this thread if you need to communicate anything.

Everyone who still hasn't made up their mind yet can do so now. The time is pretty convenient with 01.05 being a holiday and 03.05 being a Saturday.

Just to clarify, 01.05 is not actually a holiday in Switzerland. Because mountain fascists.
