What theme are you using? It's not doing that for me.

Hmm, it seems to be browser-dependent. Firefox doesn't do it at all. Konqueror opens the page with the QR window displayed rather than hidden, but it doesn't jump down to the bottom of the page. I'm running on Linux so I can't test it out on IE7.

Can anyone see what in the source code might be causing this? It's not a PHP problem; it's a browser behaviour problem due to the HTML/Javascript code, so it should be possible to identify the problem by doing a "view source" from the browser.

BlackSoul, MillenniumFalcon, and SubSilver all use the same basic template, with some minor formatting tweaks that don't have anything to do with this, so I was expecting that.

Argh. OK, I went back to the old plain quick-reply form, with no clickers for smilies, bbcodes, or colours. I'll have to debug this a bit.

User registration is back, this time with a basic skill-testing question, intended to keep spambots out.

Huh, I just noticed the quick reply problem in Firefox 3.0.x on Windows. I don't think it's as bad as IE, but I'm pretty sure it happened because when full rendered, the anchor for the new post would have brought the page all the way to the bottom.

Any chance the "Board index » Non-Fiction » Off-Topic" at the top and bottom of the page can be enlarged a bit? It's smaller than it used to be, and now it worta blends in with the rest of the similar-sized text up there.

I think I owe you a beer for that one. It's a great thing that you get your account authorized on the same day as you register. Takes out the middleman and works for the registeree. I don't know about the decor, but nice house you have here Mr...?

What's happening for me, XP Home SP2, Firefox 3.0.3, is that the quick reply automatically opens, and then once the page finishes loading, it disappears again. I think that's just lag from a combo of an iffy connection and an obsolete processor, though.

The "who is online" bit at the bottomof the index lists a few bots and spiders. Is that supposed to happen?
