Perfume the story of a murderer. All OF IT. Grenouille escapes execution by causing everyone to think he's an angel AND causing them to have a giant orgy at the exact same time, makes everyone eat him at the end, and is just surrealy written

Alice In Wonderland: the disney version and the tim burton. I saw the Tim Burton version with my sister, and my god was that the most wierd ass film I've ever seen. Everything is insane, everyone is insane, and it keeps uping the weirdness just when you think it can't. The disney version was also so depressing I couldn't even enjoy it

Xmen Inferno: The climactic battle with Sinister is just so confusing, and the scenes where the demons are invading (in short, any scene without the Goblyn Queen's Acts of skanky wickedness) was just utterly incomprehensible.

That shit's all made for the ecstasy taking, attention deficit disordered, rave generation. For them it makes perfect sense. As you said, the only thing good about is the hot girls.

Per the OP I can't think of too much right now except the ending of Big O, which was by design; and Videodrome, which even after reading the synopsis I still can't figure out what it was supposed to be about.

I beleive the first, and probably last time I saw the whole thing (only saw pieces parts before) was years ago after coming home from a security guard job and watching it at like 2:00am in the morning. Disturbing to say the least, but than Cronenberg usually is.

I can't remember many, but the biggest WTF moment for me is Just Cause 2's ending. Rico has just discovered that the world’s largest oil reserve is in the island, then a giant submarine pops up in the middle of the ocean, you fly to it. Get blown up by the AA, then climb onboard and go inside. You find the former president who was thought to have been killed. The conversation goes like this.

Rico "Papa Panay! but your dead!"
Papa Panay “I AM INVINICBLE!"

You proceed to defeat papa, who then launches four ICBMS, one a Japan, Russia, China, and of course the good ol' USA. Papa gets caught on the USA missile, and Rico jumps on one. Rico procede to surf the ICBMs and disable them while Papa is shooting you. after disabling the first 3 ICBMs, you jump onto the last one, throw Papa off, and disable it, jump of, land on the barge your friends are on. You then have a BBQ in the fallout.

One scene I can think off offhand is from the first Sword of Truth novel, Wizard's First Rule, where the protagonist's evil socialist brother proposes - as the mayor of an agrarian medieval-level society - that banning fire would be a really swell idea. That shit's dangerous, don't you know.

His proposal is, of course, greeted with unrestrained enthusiasm by all the villagers except the hero.

My roommate rented the Berserk anime years back. From what he knew of it, it was based off the manga, but we didn't know the entire series was a prequel and neither of us knew the backstory. Also, the first disc was all scratched up, so we missed specifically a part where it tells you "this is the past" or something of that sort. So, the series plays out, it's all big swords, lots of battles and blood, and political intrigue. Queue the last episode, the big reveal happens and then.... demons fucking everywhere, everyone dies, Guts cuts his own arm of, his woman is raped by tentacle monsters, THE FUCKING END!.

Yea, it was pretty traumatic.

Yeah, I get it, the book is about tragedy and how one family deals with it afterwards, but the entire first half or so of the book is all about finding out who killed Susie Salmon and trying to stop him. And when they hit the climax, BAM! Another 200 or so odd pages of story sans the antagonist.

I actually regret reading that book.
