Why would I have locked this thread if someone else had made it? It's a fair question, isn't it? where else would you ever find out what anyone's distance is but your own? It's not as if most people talk about it.

Thank you. I may have to disagree with you on that last part. Here and my house are two places that kind of discussion would take place, although at my house we're just as likely to find out, ahem, firsthand (DANGER!! BAD PUN DETECTED!) as we constantly bring boys over and have menages a trois, a quatre, a cinq, a six....

Normally not very far, but if its been a while, or the turn on factor is really high, 2-3 feet is possible.

I also noticed something in my fun times with boys. The size of the weapon has no bearing whatsoever on how far it shoots, how many shots it fires, or how much ordnance comes out in total. I've seen an 11-inch gun not even fling it at all (just a little ooze), and a 5-incher that can firehose a 20-second blast capable of soaking a guy head to toe 8 feet away!!!

Of course I've also seen vice versa, but I think you get the idea... Damn 3some sex is phun!

Why does this surprise you? We're neighbours, so we're stuck using Imperial for measurements since we must manufacture products that will be accepted down in the States, and Americans want Imperial-dimensioned products.

I don't want to think about any guy in a sexual manner, but I just think it's interesting that you can't get Shep to discuss anything remotely related to sex, unless it's condemnation of promiscuity. So asking him the question is more of a test of his prudishness. It's like asking if he masturbates; nobody wants to picture the guy doing that, but there's a curiosity as to whether he'll be willing to answer the question.

You're a engineer, and I'd have expected you to do this in the Metric
system, in your annoyingly precise way, rather than using a system
that leaves a massive margin of errror.

Not to humour Shep's attempt to take this thread into territory he's more comfortable with (read: away from sex), but the Imperial system is no more inherently error-prone than the Metric system. The problem is that it's horribly inconvenient for scientific calculations, because of all the stupid and arbitrary conversion factors. Since I am not performing any scientific calculations or expecting great accuracy in measurement, conversion into Metric is not necessary.
