As a whole, Wiki seems to be a fairly successful project which suggests the gamble on faith working out in the majority of circumstances. It is self-policing to ensure the widest possible views. Of course, it doesn't always work properly, but it generally does. This freedom has allowed it to grow like it is.

The premise is fucking stupid. If anyone can contribute, what's to stop people from giving incorrect, biased information, especially on politically charged topics? Or, suppose they hold un-ending vendettas, and you end up with shit like this, even though the topic is relatively insignificant.

I am closing this thread. It has become nothing more then an offical sanction from SD.net to vandalize Wikipedia. We don't like Revprez, fine. But vandalizing his user page? Give me a fucking break.
