Why haven't the email notifications of thread responses been going out for the longest time? I find it annoying because it makes it hard to keep track of active threads.

I also just got a popup telling me to change my password, and after I did another notice popped up a few minutes later saying I had 730 days to left before changing it again. Then I changed back to my old password and it's gone away for now.

This "change your password" popup is pissing me off. It's telling me yet again that I need to change my password in the next 730 days. What's going on? :?

You've got two years; doesn't the prompt just go away if you click on it?

PS. Damned server hiccups ... argh. It just pooped out again and when I SSH'd in to check CPU utilization, there was our friend java.

Yeah, I got caught and rejected by that one. Gave it a couple of min and it's back up.

Something I've noticed, the search will always match partials now. Searching for down will return download, etc. without a wildcard. Makes it rather frustrating to search.

Is there any way that stupid java thing can be moved to another server or something? It's been making the server burp far more than it used to, and the server stays wedged longer when it does. HRAAUUUGGHHH!!

"Your password has expired" messages

I'm using Mozilla 1.5 at the moment with popups turned off.

When browsing the board I'll often find myself logged out and when I go to log back in I get the "Password has expired Click here to request a new one" message.

I've been doing that and then changing my password via the profile but the problem has persisted. I'm not sure why this is happening.

Oif. I am sick of the board timeouts! I'm seriously considering leaning on the Paypal button in order to 'rectify' that damned Java causing it too...

Just caught this a couple minutes ago. Think it's Java forcing the SQL server process off the CPU?

While going from a topic to OT.

Then, upon refreshing OT (using the back button to get back to OT)
message_die() was called multiple times. This isn't supposed to happen. Was message_die() used in page_tail.php?
