So this means Star Trek V and Nemesis aren't nerd movies? If The Dark Knight turns out to be made of liquid suck, will it cease to be a nerd movie?
Sex and The City, while a bit long, did have some interestingly watchable stuff. The everything up until the end of the Mexico sequence was actually a fun (if predictable) film. You did see it, didn't you?

"Oh no, oh yeah, tell me how can it be so fair
That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair
Electric shocking body rocking beat streeting me to death"
- A.B. Original, Report to the Mist
"I think it’s the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."
- George Carlin

Actully I didn't. Nerd movies can suck but they have decent parts that most can enjoy.Gandalf wrote:So this means Star Trek V and Nemesis aren't nerd movies? If The Dark Knight turns out to be made of liquid suck, will it cease to be a nerd movie?

So far I've seen (in order of favorite-ness):
IronMan. Saw it twice. Hands-down best movie of the summer so far for me.
Get Smart I wouldn't see it again in the theaters, but I was pleasantly surprised by it and enjoyed it quite a lot.
Hulk Would see it again if finances permitted.
Indy It was okay, but once was enough.
Definitely interested in Mongol, TDK and X-Files. And Wall-E.
Plus, I may be forced to see Mamma Mia!, but I will cheerfully attend and not complain once.
Fortunately, she saw Sex In The City with a female friend and I was thusly spared.
Edit, I forgot... I never saw Hellboy, so that may be a rental before I catch Hellboy 2.

Y'all are overlooking Tropic Thunder.
Everything about this movie (except for Jack Black) is HELL YES. I mean what are you going to see, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua?"

That was easily the worst trailer playing in front of WALL-E.Instant Sunrise wrote:I mean what are you going to see, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua?"

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

Yeah, I'd second that definitely. It's really an amazing movie, the best Pixar's ever done and easily one of the best so far this year.

Death Race looks interesting....At least the concept seems completely different than the cult classic
"He that would make his own liberty secure must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself."
Thomas Paine
"For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten."
Ecclesiastes 9:5 (KJV)
