Oh, and here's my plug for cloth diapering - LOVE IT - have your wife take a look at gdiapers.com. It's a great product.

And enjoy her while she's tiny! Mine is looking like a little girl already!

Congrats!

Congratulations, Degan! I hope your wife recovers quickly and your daughter grows slowly, so that you get every last second with her.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

Almost ten pounds? Sounds like she'll be quite a healthy baby, indeed. Congratulations!

 Not quite. Our son was two when Katrina struck. Yes, Lilly is quite a handful. She's already too big for the newborn clothes my wife got at one of the baby showers she was given. Mostly, she sleeps and eats, but makes her needs quite known when she has to. And it was a natural delivery. Lisa's doing quite well and I'm off work for the next two weeks on family leave so I can help set up the new household. Lots to do.
