Hrm. Everyone I know? Typically a combination of Cap'n Jack, Stargate, and Squall, and/or Sean Connery like previously mentioned. That's rather funny though, that so many people fall under some overlapping fanisms. Personally, I say I'm for all of those. Less on Squall though, and more on Laguna. :P

As for voices, nobody beats Christopher Lee.

The guy from hornblower? You mean nBSG Apollo, or that guy who plays Horatio? What's his name again?

You forgot the squee-factor of Starbuck, Boomer, and Alexander Cabot, Nepht.

Mrs Kendall appears to be a big fan of Sgt Cortez, the main character from the PS2 game Timesplitters:Future Perfect. "It's time to split!"

My mother's a fangirl towards Sean Connery and Robert Redford. She also likes Korean soap operas and Chinese martial arts movies-- she keeps borrowing my 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' and 'House of Flying Daggers' DVDs.

My younger sister's also a fangirl towards Korean soap operas-- they're apparently fairly popular in Taiwan, although I can't understand why-- and the 'Full Metal Alchemist' anime. She's even interested in the FMA movie, even though it shits all over the original manga's characters and plot.
Please do not make Americans fight giant monsters.

Those gun nuts do not understand the meaning of "overkill," and will simply use weapon after weapon of mass destruction (WMD) until the monster is dead, or until they run out of weapons.

They have more WMD than there are monsters for us to fight. (More insanity here.)

I have yet to meet a woman who doesn't think Johnny Depp is the hottest thing on the face of the planet. This includes my mother, who also thinks the guy who played Snape in the Harry Potter movies is doable.

I love the smell of September in the morning. Once we got off at Richmond, walked up to the 'G, and there was no game on. Not one footballer in sight. But that cut grass smell, spring rain...it smelt like victory.

Dynamic. When [Kuznetsov] decided he was going to make a difference, he did it...Like Ovechkin...then you find out - he's with Washington too? You're kidding.

That's Alan Rickman, and my best friend Sarah thinks the same thing. I can definitely see it; the man has a luscious voice....

Johnny Depp used to creep me out and give me nightmares when I was younger and to this day he still makes me somewhat uneasy. It all goes back to being traumatized from watching Edward Scissorhands when I was a kid, I think I was just too young when I watched it. No Johnny Depp for me...

Rebecca used to be a big fan of Johnny Depp, but she found out that he acts like a bit of a dick in real-life, so some of the bloom is off that rose. She's also a big fan of Russell Crowe, but not in an "if I were 18 and single I'd spread my legs for him" way, more of a "he's a really good actor" way (and yes, I know, he has his history too, but he's the fucking Gladiator; a certain amount of violence is expected).

The only celebrity who really makes her wet is Denzel Washington. She's said that on many occasions. As for being a fangirl of some TV show, the only shows she watches with any regularity are the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

my mom and sis it really comes down to. Does the actor appear regularly in BBC productions that get distributed on A&E or PBS. As my sister has mentioned a couple of characters from spooks, My mom also loves who ever plays Inspector morse, and they both think Helen Mirren is devinely inspired because of her time as Inspector Tennyson.

My ex-girlfriend had an obsession with Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford and Lindt chocolate.

Fortunately I shared the obsession with Depp and Lindt.

Not too many of my friends obsess over individual characters.... excpet for one. She drools over Daniel Jackson in a way I cannot describe. Any time SG-1 becomes a topic of conversation she'll somehow manage to swing it to Michael Shanks "naked in a field...AND BUFF!"

Leaving aside the fact I haven't met you, $10 says you're in denial.

Mother: Not applicable. She's not a fan of anything at all.

Female classmates: Contemporary "rock" and random anime and manga I don't know the names of.

Female Internet acquaintances: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Chrono Crusade, Full Moon wo Sagashite, Fruits Basket, Tales of Symphonia, Inuyasha, et cetera. I have a friend named Kimberly who has particularly fleeting crushes on random male anime characters; you name him, she's probably had a crush on him.
I ship Eino Ilmari Juutilainen x Lydia V. Litvyak.

Oh, my mum rather likes Darcy (Colin Firth) from the BBC production of Pride and Predjudice. The same no doubt applies to my eldest sister, too.

In spite of being closest to my youngest sister I have no inkling of who or what she fancies besides her own husband.

George Clooney. Used to be a lot more fangirlism around my family over Tom Cruise too, but that's pretty much dead now.
