2.62 per gallon for low grade (87 octane) last week when I filled up, although it looks like prices have gone down to about 2.55 per gallon since then.
Clever and witty signature to be inserted here, just as soon as I think of one.

Here in my parts of Sweden, the average price of gas (95 octane) is 11.58 Swedish kronor ($1.47 or €1.22) per liter (or about $4.81 per gallon). Two-thirds of the gas price are various types of taxes. I'm glad that I don't own a car (well, I don't even have a driver's license).

It's been floating around between $2.25 and $2.50, changing fairly frequently. Anyone remember cheaper gas days?

I remember when I first started driving in 1999 and gas was 99 cents a gallon. It cost me 12 dollars to fill my tank from bone dry, and I was driving a car that got 30 mpg. Oh, those were the days.

Now my truck gets about 17 mpg and gas is $2.30. It's a goddamn good thing I take the train to work.

The thing that pisses me off is that it went down by a lot first, then within two weeks it was back up again. A few weeks ago it was $1.95/gallon. WHYYYYYYYYY?
