Why are we wasting time? Divert the needed funds and proceed!
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!

I call a second with the proviso that henceforth all kickbacks must be cleared through the office of the Senator from Mariaeterritorium now sitting as the sole member and chair of the Permanent Senate Subcommitte on Contracts.

Amendment noted and Attached to the bill. You now will recieve 210 x your Current Senatorial wage of $0 once the Bill is ratified. Don't spend it all at once.

Of course this generous dispensation on the part of the Chairman's office dues not come chepa, shall we say 50% of the Kickback you will recieve for voting the Bill in.

Will you do your duty nd ensure the Bills under your supervision get a seedy and smooth passage into Law?
Oh and unfortunately all kickbacks are already supervised by the Chairman's Office, the speedy and smooth passage of Bills will of course need a slightly larger Kickback than simply voting for, I'm sure you agree.

Shouldn’t that be 2.1x0? Never mind, we have no need for order of magnitude precision in our accounting anyway

Bah, mathematical precision is for the plebes. I deal in amounts measured by wads. As in I have 2 wads of cash in 2 briefcases therefore I will soon own 2 Senators. That's the maths I deal in. 8)

Mr Chancellor!
I hope that the Honourable Member for Pachendaele City is not suggesting that members of this house tolerate budget items not reciving an appropriate vote from the budget?

My pledge should clearly indicate that I'm out to do what must be done and meanwhile I would sya only that there is great advantage in running the kickbacks through the subcommitte instead of the chancellor's office as several members might become curious as to why the offices of graft, kickbacks, and pork are ALL operating out of the same leather bound briefcase in the chancellor's office. I merely offer plausible deniability in the form of minor accounting miscues between the offices of graft and kickbacks.

Graft? You mean work? I'm afriad your aides have been lying to you, and I'm shocked that you would have ever fallen for something so fundamentally false.

However I am happy to say that not only does the Permanent Senate Subcommittee on Contracts handle the passage of certain bills through the Senate, they can now also deal with the matters of Graft (streets need to be swept after all).

Of course the Chairman's Office is more than happy to deal with Kickbakcs, Public Works and Pork Futures Trading Oversight. Carry on.

The Hon. Member for Pach. is speaking to the Special Budget for military spending as detailed in Section 7, Sub section EE, Para 124ii of the Index to the FY 2007 Budget Bill. As such this is covered by the Permanent Senate Subcommittee on Contracts, and I would ask that you address any concerns to the Hon. Member for Marie. and his Special Executive Assistant for affairs of extreme violence, Knuckles. :)

Mr Chancellor the Chairman of the Subcommittee wishes to state that the aforementioned budget has been reviewed previously. As such if the Hon. Member Mackey (whose delegation has not been appropriately recognized here at this time and thus is in need of a contract for verification of recognition) wishes to inquire again he will be forced to submit a new contract for examination under Section 8 Title VL Para 2 and submit funding requests through the Contracts Clerk and the Clerk of the Office of Kickbacks.

Point of Order Mr Chancellor. Selection to the Senate is quite sufficant, there is no need for such mindless drearyness and it is only the the illbred unwashed that need worry about such matters and what need we concern ourselves with such nonsence?
Move that Members statement be striken.

It is a valid point that the Hon. Member has not yet registered in the House list. Only those listed may be eligible for contracts or Kickbacks (not to mention Orgies). The Hon.Member is therefore urged to amend this mistake at his earliest Convenience.

Officers Vinnie and Luigi will gladly escort you immediately to the Registar. 8)

Point of Order Mr Chancellor, the Hon Member, having not registered, has not yet executed a requisition for a standard form for proposal to strike statements. Given that such a form has not been presented to the clerk I move, and with appropriate paperwork, that the member's remarks be editorialzied as childish and destined to be a rallying point for the AYVB.

So noted and documented. The record will show the Hon. Member as acting like a Big Smelly and that his best friend has Cooties. Once the Hon. Member has registered, he can move for that to be amended (with the requisite foldable documentation of course).

It has been brought to the Chairs attention that the Hon. Member for the Fifth estate is in fact a charming, handsome ladiesman. Let the record show this and strike all old comments regard the Hon. Member.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've just received a 64" Plasma tv and DTS 8.1 home theatre system from a mysterious benefactor.
