I dunno CC or Rogue 9 very well, and I havent observed them (or paid attention to either much in receent years), but Simplicius has always impressed me when I have noticed his work. However, I know Surlethe the best and he's always managed to impress me both with being highly intelligent, quite logical about matters, and also manages to throw politeness in even when the idiot doesn't deserve it (or at least a measure of impariality) In some ways he kinda reminds me of Publius (though NOONE is like Publius.. :P ) so I have to go with Surlethe.

Surlethe appears to be winning the vote and I grow impatient, so I have created the new forum. Let the games begin!

PS. If anyone has any criticisms or suggestions about the format and rules of the new forum, post them here.

It might as well be asked - since we can now institute debate-as-spectacle, should we have commentary threads for the spectators?

EDIT: Also- will debates occur as a result of individual challenges to which the staff agree, as a duelling ground, or a space for staff-initiated 'special events,' or both? It might be good to formalize procedures for challenges, acceptances, and refusals if gauntlets start being thrown down.

There is one in OT.

Something will work out. These might eventually be good candidates for the "Famous Threads" repository if they're sufficiently interesting enough.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!

All are worthy champions, but:

--Surlethe is winning
--Surlethe is awesome
--I want to see this happen ASAP

... so, Surlethe, Surlethe!
