But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

Without getting too deep into it I honestly think elevating only one candidate at a time (and I also agree both are highly qualified) can spark further nominations as the one who is not elevated will certainly be nominated in this month for the June 1 vote. Now hopefully by almost forcing us to consider that vote we may gain additional nominations so that we continue to fill the Senate with all the individuals who are qualified. Again I honestly would vote for both but I think forcing us to let one in at a time sparks continuing looks for additional candidates so we should stick with the procedures we have in hand.

I'm with Wilkins and the Duchess. We've had situations with more than one qualified candidate before, and in every instance the loser waited his turn. And Wilkins is right: any chance to find another qualified candidate for this body should not be passed up.
