Depiction of ancient Persian army in the 2,500 celebration

Post by ray245 »

During the 2,500 celebration of the Iranian Monarchy in 1971, there was some depiction of Ancient Persian and their armies. From what I could see, their uniform and Armour looks pretty accurate.

It's sad that the video quality isn't high. It will be nice to see those armours close up.

Ray, what did I say in response to your question about documentaries and TV reenactment being posten in the History Forum?

Yeah, I said that they would have to be like a book review. Guess what? "They look pretty accurate" is not a review.

Is it so hard for you to remember things that happened barely a month ago? That were written in a thread you started, to a question asked by you?

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'?
