Personally, I think I merely represent society's lust for blood, just twisted into a sexual context. What do you think about society's bloodlust, any other thoughts, examples of, and do you think there's a problem with it?

Well, you said 'society'. I assumed you meant the one we could see and evaluate. And anyway, we're no better off today than we were millennia agone. We commit the same crimes, the same lies, the same sexual oddities. We fantasize about the same evils and paradises. Still, there are a lot of things that temper what we can get away with in reality, and I think that in general, we're a lot better educated and have access to more calming and entertaining influences, and that helps.

Pending on your reference point. Society has changed over time and has learned to accept its change. Thus society views itself as the normal healthy sick that every society holds. However, to broaden the question, which society are you talking about. The different countries with different societies in them will view other societies differently. An example may be americans over prudish yet sex fiendish behaviors versus other countries who are open minded towards sex. The two will call the other sick yet not think of each other as so. Of course I could just be wandering off on a tangent and your just asking for an opinion... so yes, we are all a bunch of evil, evil, people that make a sick society world wide.

If people aren't allowed to explore sexuality, they're gonna grow up to lonely or screwed up. Just take a look at the pedophile Catholic priests. They can't get some from consenting women, so they become gay and pedophilic. To make sure that sex doesn't convert to violence, some people need to understand that you don't need to hurt someone to derive pleasure.

Some theorize that content of entertainment inversly reflects percieved quality of life. The Greeks were able to enjoy watching plays full of violence, sorrow, and destruction of heroes (Greek tragedies), mostly because they felt that they had a good world to live in and enjoy. Contrast this to fundies; they are against enjoyment of sexuality, many forms of entertainment, the pursuit of one's own goals, etc etc (not to mention individual groups that don't believe in things like TV or toys, but they're thankfully rare), and look at their sad little boring, sexless lives. Generally, people who can face up to the problems in the world and look at them for what they are, are able to separate them from their outlook on life and ability to be happy.

As for how this applies to RayCav? Ray has little or no grip on reality. He can wallow in perverse fantasies because he has nothing to compare them to.
