Somewhere, there's a page of the creator of this game. I believe there's a sequel as well. It's far more interesting than the first one, but still goofy.

Black & White sucked. I abused my creature and he ended up shitting over villages and eatting fishermen. All in all i'd make a better god if i could have controled my creature.

*critter lightning bolts irritating non-believer to within 2% of his life*

*critter casts rain, followed by heal on non-believer*
*you got 78 belief* (I'll stop these pointless interludes now)
*critter lightning bolts irritating non-believer (again)*
*critter casts rain, followed by heal on non-believer (again)*
*continue crispifying and resurrection process ad-nauseum*
*critter gets bored and decides it needs to go the bathroom*
*critter takes a titan-sized dump on irritating non-believer knocking him tot the ground with a piece of shit the size of a small house*
*critter feels hungy*
*critter spies irritating non-believer*
*critter doesn't like un-cooked food*
*critter fireballs irritating non-believer (and half the goddamn village)*
*critter extinguishes irritating non-believer*
*critter eats nicely sauteed irritating non-believer*
*critter proceeds to trample the rest of the village and then take a dump on the town centre*

Thats right people, I brought my creature up to be vindictive...

Ah, good fun. I was just thinking about the theist argument that life must've been intellignetly designed because of the billion-in-one chance of it happening, and then stumbled upon this. Here are these little people, running around doing what little they can, and it turns out their only purpose is for god to kill them.

Much better way to vent out godly wrath than Black & White. That ended up more like a virtual pet game than the original design of a semi-sequel to Populous (either that, or they never admitted they were changing the design's direction during production).
